I enjoy watching game shows at times. What are your favorites? Mine is Jeopardy. |

I know this game show where contestants build their own vehicles/death traps with which they have to pass a course on either land or on water to ring a bell: fastest vehicle wins. Rather amusing stuff, and people make some beautiful contraptions. |

Sounds kind of like Scrapheap Challenge. While I'm not sure if it counts as a gameshow proper, I find Hells Kitchen and Masterchef really amusing. Edited by Frosty, Dec 9 2011, 05:34 AM.

It's not really like Scrapheap Challenge, because the people have built their stuff at home, and a LOT of contestants show up per episode. |

This sounds like something I got to check out. Does this show have a name? |

Well, it's a Dutch show called Te land, Te zee en In de lucht (on land, on sea and in the air), so don't expect to understand a word of it. And most of the parts that involved flying have been removed over the years, mainly because strapping a homemade parachute (in an event that involved staying airborne) to your back and jumping into a body of water would have killed someone eventually. |

It is a distressing world where Ninja Warrior makes more sense than these other game shows you mention. |

I hate Hell's Kitchen for one main reason. The guy running the show is fucking asshole who treats the contestants like shit. |

Ironically he is a really nice guy when not on the show. He is being a hard ass because he is preparing them to work in one of the most demanding kitchens in the world and there will be no room for error. |

And any other of his shows that's not Hell's Kitchen. Master Chef comes to mind, holy shit if that Italian judge isn't the biggest deuche on tv. |
