I've been having this casual thing with this intern chap from down the street. (Not OUR intern. That doesn't actually fly here.) Anyway, at one point I casually ask whey he won't schedule anything on Saturdays, and I can immediately tell he doesn't want to say anything. So I yank his chain a bit, and eventually he says he has a "role playing group." When I express surprise at not being invited, he looks even more confused. Turns out this version of roleplaying has nothing to do with "I'm a bad girl who needs smiting." So apparently he goes to this other fellow's apartment, with some other people, and they roll dice, and things? Anyway, I'm going next Saturday. Anyone know about this? How do I win? More importantly, how do I dress? I mean, there's informal and then there's informal and then there's handcuffs, you know? |

If I were to play WHFB, I'd definitely go with either Vampire Counts or Tomb Kings. Undead are always the way to go in low fantasy. |

Well yeah, the Vampire models are kind of lame. The rest of the Undead dudes are pretty awesome though. |

I'm just curious if there are giant vampiric bat monsters. They are pretty cool look- >realization that I'm talking about a miniature game Oh god, you guys rubbed off on me. Edited by Inanity_Check, Jan 26 2012, 09:21 PM.

If you want, when you get back from Sweden I can summon fiendish dire vampire bat. I'm not sure what qualifies as "giant" to you but the ones I can summon have a 15 foot wingspan and weigh 200lbs, which is pretty big for a bat. |

Vampires aren't allowed to be hardcore anymore. At least, we're not allowed to let the general public see us being hardcore. We've been viewed over the many years as "bad guys", even though many of us just want to go about our lives. People see a hardcore vampire, and he gets swarmed by clerics and paladins. Even hardcore vampires get tired of that shit. @Amy Eva, and many other vampires, can turn into a giant bat, bigger than she is. |

@Illy It might be better not to. Krupp is still getting over his fixation on flying things. @Dan That's so awesome. I don't know why, I just think giant monster bats are awesomely cool in a scary, conventional way. Far more traditional then a squamous horror. |
