So this "Rogue Trader" thing apparently has nothing to do with Sarbanes-Oxley

I've been having this casual thing with this intern chap from down the street. (Not OUR intern. That doesn't actually fly here.) Anyway, at one point I casually ask whey he won't schedule anything on Saturdays, and I can immediately tell he doesn't want to say anything. So I yank his chain a bit, and eventually he says he has a "role playing group." When I express surprise at not being invited, he looks even more confused. Turns out this version of roleplaying has nothing to do with "I'm a bad girl who needs smiting."

So apparently he goes to this other fellow's apartment, with some other people, and they roll dice, and things? Anyway, I'm going next Saturday. Anyone know about this? How do I win? More importantly, how do I dress? I mean, there's informal and then there's informal and then there's handcuffs, you know?

Well Illy, the ritual I tried seems to have worked. Though it's expensive, the materials cost around $2000.

So far, they've agreed to go find John Connor in order to get him to the future so they can save Cybertron. It's hilarious watching them trying to figure stuff out.
I'll definitely have to look that ritual up then, thank you. No price is too high to be able to watch my Touhou figurines have miniature danmaku battles in real life.

I found it in the german spellbook "Applied Animation Techniques by Werner von Schützelhofen", the edition I have is from 1958, if that helps you looking for it.

From what I can tell, after observing them for a while now. They seem to be sentient, to a degree. So far, they are still stuck in believing they are the characters they look like. And as I mentioned, they are also trying to achieve their goals. This is incredibly hilarious.

I am curious in all honesty now; I wonder if animated toys can become well adjusted members of society, and is it their simple obvious nature that dictates their emotions?

I mean, Krupp is Krupp, but would every other old animated ack-ack work the same? I mean he is in a tank now, but still.

Well, you could come down to the basement and observe two recently animated toys and make your own assessment. Trust me, it's hilarious.

Thanks, I found it~ I'm too sick to attempt it at the moment though, so I'll have to wait to have a tea party with the cast of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

To be honest, I'm kind of still debating whether or not I should do this. I mean the Touhou characters will probably be fine, all they ever do is sit around drinking tea and occasionally have danmaku battles, but I'm not so sure about my other figurines. I remember reading an article about some guy in Japan whom animated a bunch of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure figures and had them fight, but ended up being murdered by Dio Brando in his sleep with a razor blade to the jugular. I'd rather not wake up in a few weeks to find that my Char has hijacked Krupp, painted him red, and somehow convinced him to try to conquer Chicago for Zeon.

This is great.

I actually animated my MG Kamen Rider Skull that Julia got me with a spell I found called "Drosselmeyer's Ballet." It was in one of dad's century-old spellbooks, and had a hastily-scrawled warning about ducks dispelling the enchantment somehow. When I asked dad about it, he had no idea what that was about, and had never actually seen the spell, which isn't too unusual. I haven't had any problems so far, but I will admit I've kept the toy away from Julia's collection of rubber ducks.

I need to put together my RAcaseal Elenor model kit and animate that next.

basically, it makes the animated object allergic to ducks.
and mysteriously the ducks will find it extremely tasty.

Interesting. If I ever get my hands on a miniature SRX or Granteed Dracodeus I might give that a try. Assuming I can save up for the materials and find a competent caster.
