Corporate Office Drow
|
I've been having this casual thing with this intern chap from down the street. (Not OUR intern. That doesn't actually fly here.) Anyway, at one point I casually ask whey he won't schedule anything on Saturdays, and I can immediately tell he doesn't want to say anything. So I yank his chain a bit, and eventually he says he has a "role playing group." When I express surprise at not being invited, he looks even more confused. Turns out this version of roleplaying has nothing to do with "I'm a bad girl who needs smiting." So apparently he goes to this other fellow's apartment, with some other people, and they roll dice, and things? Anyway, I'm going next Saturday. Anyone know about this? How do I win? More importantly, how do I dress? I mean, there's informal and then there's informal and then there's handcuffs, you know? |

It probably involved whips. Maybe she turned the whole party into a Slaanesh cult? |

Surprising as it may sound, I think Slaanesh would be too hardcore for the Drow. |

That depends on how deep they got into the roleplaying aspect of the game and what kind of Drow they were. In some of the more remote areas of the Underdark, there are Drow cities that would quite feel at home in the Eye of Terror, though for most yeah, the manner in which Slaanesh is usually depicted would be too much. |

I knew it, the Underdark is a nest for filthy chaos worshipping heretics that hasn't seen the Emperors light. I say we set our bolters to "purge". ... Yeah, I've played a bit too much warhammer lately. |

I'm more of a Tyranid person myself. The only Imperium factions I really like are the Inquisition, Adepta Sororitas, and a few individual Space Marine chapters and Imperial Guard regiments. |

Tyranids are my regular opponents. I love playing against Tyranid horde armies with my Imperial Guard regiment. It's like, a sea of claws and teeth versus a sea of lasguns and boots. And then theres only 5 models left standing on the entire table. I also find it funny how in every LGS I've been in always thinks I'm going to play Eldar. It's like "Hurf, durf he's a faggot elf he's gotta play faggot eldar durr hurf." And then I place a guardsman horde on the table and recite prayers from the Imperial Infantrymans Uplifting Primer. Oh the neckbeard tears my beloved guardsmen has caused. >Adepta Sororitas >HNNNNNNNNG.jpg |

Would you happen to play Death Korps of Krieg? They're my favorite regiment~ Edited by WakingDreamer, Jan 26 2012, 07:30 PM.

Nah, I play a regiment based on the motherfucking Roughnecks from Starship Troopers. I use the Cadian models. |

I used to really like Necrons before they were nerfed to Hell and got personalities. Call me biased, but as far as I'm concerned an undead army should largely consist of mindless drones. Ordering around an endless horde of fearless, merciless shambling corpses is part of the fun. Aah. The Cadian models have never been my favorite, but custom units are always great. |
