I do not have a "hobby" of sorts as I am unable to enjoy things since my raising, yet this seems the right place to adress this. For me there is only my work, and with my work come my weapons. My rune weapon is a claidheamh mòr which The Master had claimed from a Scottish nobleman. During the centuries I have collected many weapons, and have learned to forge them myself. Unfortunately they have significantly lost use over the centuries, and everyone uses firearms now. Do any of you have knowledge about projectileless weapons, either their use or their forging? |

So, magic is not the end of all your problems then? Rather, it's the cause of your problems? |

Card powers? You will have to elaborate on this. Is that some form of yargon? |

Mele weapons, in all honesty, seem a bit silly. Why ever get near something when you can obliterate them with high-powered weaponry/ magic? I mean, I'm a bit biased, since my 'other' form can probably eat someone's kneecaps from a quarter-mile away, but I feel more comfortable with a shotgun then a sword anyday. |

Seems rather simple. They are not a team, making them weak. The green guy was obviously far better equipped than the red guy, and needed to prove a point in the midst of battle. Don't attack them head-on. Circle around, use a fear or madness spell on the red guy, then charge out and fight the green guy in close combat. A quick blow to the arm to disable his summoning device, then a stab through the chest. Judging from those things they summoned at the end they are pact-makers of some kind, but these entities seem to be under the complete control of the humans. Killing them is likely to break the pact and send them back to whatever they came from. And I do not use guns because I do not need guns. I can strangle a man to death at 50 meters with a single spell. If you use a sword against a gun user it makes them feel safe and superior until you relieve them of their ribcage. If needed I can throw a knife with killing accuracy or use magic, yet with enhanced movement I do not often find myself needing to do something like this. |

Personally I'm not trained in the use of any weapons, because magic is my main weapon. I have taken lessons in Krav Maga in my first year at the university, and I think I've got a pretty good grab on how to use it. Thava has trained in a traditional Dragonborn fighting style/dance that focuses on physical fitness and disabling strikes. Heh, I remember being introduced to her uncle (father's side) around the time I first met her. I was still taking the Krav Maga classes at the time, and I picked Thava up from her training. Her uncle used to be an adventurer until a nasty injury made him retire, and he took up giving swordfighting classes. He tried to make a point by holding me at swordpoint because he thought I had "intentions" with his niece (not at the time). When he swung his sword at me my training kicked in, and I somehow managed to punch him in the scar of his old injury which made him drop his sword, which I scooped up and held against his throat. We had a healthy laugh about it (except Thava, who kind of flipped out at me suddenly opening a can of ultra-violence), and all was good. Nice guy by the way, a bit crazy but good at heart. |

I'm trained in a few styles, but the one i use day to day is a bit of a variant. It's a standard Greco-Roman sword and board style, but adapted to someone using a tower shield and Great sword instead. sometimes it's just more useful for the purposes of passive intimidation. some people will notice a gun on your hip, but EVERYONE will notice the sword close to your size and giant metal wall on your back |

I use mostly a combination of holy power and swords (longswords and greatswords), though sometimes I use my fists or sheer force of will, depending on how angry I am at my adversary. |
