I do not have a "hobby" of sorts as I am unable to enjoy things since my raising, yet this seems the right place to adress this. For me there is only my work, and with my work come my weapons. My rune weapon is a claidheamh mòr which The Master had claimed from a Scottish nobleman. During the centuries I have collected many weapons, and have learned to forge them myself. Unfortunately they have significantly lost use over the centuries, and everyone uses firearms now. Do any of you have knowledge about projectileless weapons, either their use or their forging? |

Yep. Though back then, it was hardly a joke to the person on the receiving end. Insulting one's mother was a terrible insult, and depending on whose mother you were insulting, it could get you killed. |

Really? Because the slabs they were on made it seem like they weren't too big a deal; just simple little riddles for people. Also, sadly, the first 'mom' joke's punchline has been list to the sands of time. ((ooc: I am not making this shit up. I'll find the link tomorrow)) |

Perhaps I'm wrong, I wasn't there myself. I just remember that one of my ancestor's slaves from around that time had a memory of sitting at a campfire and listening to a friend tell a 'your mother' joke about the leader of the group of humans he lived in. Next thing he knew, the man telling the joke had a spear embedded in the side of his head and had fallen over into the fire, and the group's leader was shouting incoherently at the man's corpse and kicking it between the legs. Maybe that was just an isolated incident though. |

That, my friend is the best idea. A switch axe! Now, we only need a switch chainsaw. |

No it is not. You need to have some distance between the blade and the handle to put some strength behind it. On a similar note, one of my associates is called Hatchet. He call himself this because his favorite weapon is the hatchet, and carries at least a dozen of them on his body at all times. Even more are carried on his mount, a skeletal Hibbeargryph. He can slay an ogre at one-hundred paces with a single thrown hatchet, and when he fights with a hatchet in each hand he can land an impressive amount of blows on his target in a small amount of time. All of his weapons have handles at least two or three times as long. |

I was just joking, reaper_man. That said, quick, easy weapons are better then the fancy stuff anyway. A hatchet is deadly in anyone's hands while something like a chakra takes too long to learn. |
