That doesn't mean God is against it though. The New Testament doesn't say same-sex marriage is wrong, and God has a habit of saying when things are wrong.

Other than defining marriage as between a man and a woman. Seems pretty clear to me. After all, it's how we were designed.

Highly debatable, and in fact probably wrong. Not the part about males and females copulating with each other of course, but the notion of life long monogamous couples

Except the Bible clearly states that God intended marriage to last for life.

Yeah, but the bible also says that the entire human race came from a single couple, or for that matter every single species of animal (presumably even hermaphrodites).

Yes. Adam and Eve. The number of animals created is not clear.

The bit about the animals was referring to the flood. And the point is that is all wrong, which when you think about it doesn't really matter because even if god intended for that, it does not follow that is how humans were designed.

I don't know what wrong you are referring to. And every 'clean' animal had seven representatives. Every 'unclean' animal had two.

The wrong of the notion that the human race was spontaneously created by divine intervention and the wrong of the notion that a species that reproduces sexually can survive and thrive with only two progenitors.

Well, in this instance, I believe it best to call it a matter of faith, and leave it at that. You have your beliefs, and I have mine.

There is faith and there is outright ignoring reality. Literal interpretation of creation myth is the later

But you have to look past faith. With this logic you're saying you chose how you love. Homosexuality exists in over 250 species, and saying that it's not a choice and it's a sin is just ignorance.

Ok going to point this out as read through this
Bronies seem to agree with same sex marriage as a whole.
Also I'm for same sex marriage since it shows the love that a man has for a man is just as pure as the love a man has for a woman and visa versa for women who love women.

It's not bronyism that makes us support same-sex marriage. It's a combination of common sense, having no ties to religious bodies (generally) and liberalism. I support same-sex marriage, and I do so as a heterosexual. After all, Queers are people too.

As for the point about god... no. You are free to believe whatever you want to believe, because we live in progressive societies. The next logical step for progressive society is the separation of Church and State. Therefore, what the Bible says is totally irrelevant to the discussion, because it's religious. When was the last time anyone asked a Hindu what they thought of gay marriage?

I am for Same Sex Marriage and I am very displeased with the way the Irish Government are incredibly slow and non-responsive to this crucial issue.

I am for as well. I see no logical reason to be against gay marriage unless, of course, you don't want people to be happy.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and life choices but the cosept of morality is constantly changing so their choices are seen as evil and outlandish. but honestly i don't really mind same sex marriage, i've got gay freinds so i don't how they act around me, on an unrealated-ish topic gay people like me :/
