That is my point. Argo, addition cannot be before subtraction because they are the same thing. That would mean addition is before addition, which would result in a big old mess. |

Yes, you can subtract a negative number. Of course subtracting a negative number is exactly the same as adding it so, yes and no. To quote Pythagasoras: "It's... complicated." |

Multiplication and division are the same, too. 25/5 = 25 * 1/5 Hence the lack of priority for either operation within that pair. |
