this is just a thread for those who want to show respect for all those who died in 9/11 all 4 planes and a thread to celebrate the heroes who died saving others lives. This tragic event affected everyone not just Americans for all the heroes whom died i thank you for everyone who died in the buildings and the plans you are in my thoughts. I will be taking a day of no posts to remember the fallen i invite others to join. It is not much but its all we can do on this sad day Where were you on that sad september day i was only 5 but I remember that day very well? 12 years and the pain and grieving is still there for all those who lost loved ones I am sorry. For those who do not know what happened today 12 years ago 2 plans hit the world trade center towers killing thousands firefighters rushed in and where killed as well there was also a plane that hit the pentagon killing hundreds. And a fourth plane headed for the white house was re-hijacked by passengers and crash landed in a cornfield. My mom's cousin was in the pentagon when it happened he is fine 9/11 song

Wow, 9002, that is very touching. While I will not join you in not posting, I am very glad you did that. I don't remember the event at all, I was so young. I recently went to New York and when we went on the ferry to see the Statue of Libery, you could see the new World Trade Center very well. I wished we could have, but we did not go to Ground 0. |

Not much to contribute here... So... My uncle died, as he was on the floor on the North Tower where the plane hit. Uh... 9/11 was pretty bad, I guess? |

I was a bit older than you, 9002, and I was living in the security of my home country far away from USA so I don't remember that day as clearly if at all, but I am sorry for all the lives lost in 9/11. |

I'm a magical princess from another dimension

I was in school. It was presentation day, a type of activity where we went to school a week before actual class starts, catch up with people, receive basic orientation... I went home like normal, and as I stepped out of the elevator, my dad opened the door with a somewhat distressed look and said to me "You are not gonna believe what happened!", I followed him to living room where I saw the news on TV. ... Truth be told, after the initial shock and confusion, I actually felt a little bit relieved. I know it sounds pretty awful to say it, but we are talking about an awful thing that happened all across the ocean, and I was half expecting him to tell me my mom had died or something like that. Regardless, sincere condolences to Beian and everyone else that lost loved ones. |
