Justice is when both sides of whatever situation occurred are restored to their joy and even happier than before, where both sides can form an agreement and settle their differences, burying all hate previously experienced. Anyone can change if they put their mind over matter. For some people such as smokers, change is the greatest obstacle in life. People tend to repeat the same process over and over. For example, even if somebody just sits at a different spot on the bus everyday, that is a huge change. Repetitive patterns can lead people into misery. There is a sickness called 'carpal tunnel', and that is caused by doing the same motions over and over, which is just a perfect example of why we need change. By reading and taking notes on "Touching Spirit Bear", I do have hope that anyone could transform and that forgiveness is divine. Cole searched for a change, and when he really took his transformation seriously, he became a new, genuine person. Usually if someone goes against us in any situation, we tend to not forgive and hold what modern society calls a 'grudge'. As human beings, we look to harm that person to get even, which in the end is never worth it. Cole is glad that he had the opportunity to avoid jail and be one with nature to replenish himself and take a look at what he's doing wrong from a third-person point-of-view.
