Saw No Reservations last week. Pretty good. I didn't realize it was remake of Mostly Martha - which, I think, is a German film I saw a few years back. Not bad. Can't remember the lead actor's name - but her reminds me of Viggo Mortensen - except with exaggerated features.

Watched Little Miss Sunshine & Music & Lyrics - Little Miss Sunshine was a hoot. Hugh Grant did a good job in M&L, very funny dancing, but the movie seemed a little long & there wasn't much plot there.

I keep waiting for Adrian Paul (Highlander) to make a really good movie. He's gorgeous, and I liked him in Highlander, but I haven't seen much of him since Highlander.

I really liked Little Miss Sunshine. Abigail Breslin is adorable.

Watched Closer on Friday - Odd but good. Odd because I felt like when they adapted it from the stage play, they didn't go quite far enough. I still felt like I was sitting on this side of the 4th wall. There were times when I wanted to reach for a playbill so that I would know the where and the when. Plus I've decided I'm not a big fan of Natalie Portman.

Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang - Makes me laugh every time.

Went to see Hairspray. Absolutely loved it. Had hoped I would since I love the musical. Couple of...umm...disappointing moments. Just stuff they changed from the stage version (like the jail scene). The finale live is exhausting with the constant motion during Can't Stop the Beat. Didn't feel that way in the film version but that's ok. Casting was fabulous. Even Zac Efron who I had my doubts about playing Link. Overall it's one of those movies that you can't help but smile while watching.

Finally saw The Prestige. Loved it! A very cool old-time cat-and-mouse game. And of course Christian Bale was a total hottie as always.

Closer--I liked Closer ok. I hated Julia Roberts and Jude Law's story. I like Clive Owen and Natalie Portman though. The movie did not impress me too much.

Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang--ITA with you Kat. Love that movie, and it totally makes me laugh. I've been in love with Robert Downey Jr. since I was 8 years old. He's one of my faves. Loved the chemistry in that movie. Liked the quirkiness of it.

No Reservations - really enjoyed it. I'd heard it was a remake, but I never saw Mostly Martha so I couldn't compare.

Watched The Black Dahlia yesterday. I liked the old Hollywood film noir feel to it. That was cool. The SL was creepy and weird. Scarlett was gorgeous as always. OMG, Josh Hartnett was a hottie. Where has he been the past few years? He seriously needs to be in more big movies.

saw Zodiac - it was good, but u know the case never gets solved so that kinda took a lot of steam out of it for me

300 - damn...the perfect Spartan men bodies...so right, and so wrong. And Gerard Butler has a nice ass. :giggle Overall really really liked it, the graphics annoyed me, but the story was good. Spartan queen was fantastic.

Saw "Stardust" this weekend. It was good--I liked it. I liked the fantasy element done in a way an adult could relate to. Really a good original story and movie. Something you don't find too often nowadays. Claire Danes was pretty good--her English accent was really good. Michelle Pfeiffer was so cool as a bad witch. Loved that! Robert DeNiro had me LMAO in his scenes. He had a few very funny scene stealers.

My BF Henry had a very small role, as a bad character. He looked so funny in his bad costume and wig. But, he was still a cutie and had a few comical scenes.

Saw a trailer for the sequel to Elizabeth--"Elizabeth: The Golden Years." Cate Blanchett still looks awesome. Clive Owen plays Drake. We'll see. Just don't like the way that director changes history.

I'll add Stardust to my list.

Saw a few movies this weekend.

Shooter - good action flick, Wahlberg definitely looked good. Love seeing Kate Mara...she's so cute. Her family owns the NY Giants.

Dear Frankie - Gerard Butler looks good in this one. Sad, sweet, nice movie. Sad b/c what the mother does for her son. I really liked the boy and Gerard's role in the movie.

Goal! - love soccer movies, and this one was good. I really need to get into this sport more. It'd the only I played when I was younger.

Rented Disturbia and Harsh Times.

As u can see, i'm piling on the movies before real work and moving. Then i'm ending my blockbuster deal. All this while packing.

I hope to check out Stardust. The previews looked good.

I hope they come out with a Bourne DVD set. I've actually never seen the first one. LOL! The last 2 were really good though.
