Saw "Vantage Point" this weekend. I really liked it. It was an interesting premise seeing the same thing from different points of view. The action was good. Entertaining movie.

Saw "Semi-Pro" last weekend. A typical Will Farrell movie. Definitely silly, but it did make me laugh throughout. Woody Harrelson is great.

The sad thing is that I chose to see "Semi-Pro" over "The Other Boleyn Girl." I have decided to forgo TOBG and not pay $10 to see it in the theater. I was skeptical from the get-go about the casting, which IMO is terrible. Then, I saw the trailer and it was so bad I was cringing. I usually don't pay attention to movie reviews, but the reviews sealed the deal for me. It got panned, and I decided not to pay to see it. Oh well. I guess another example when a novel should be left well enough alone and not blockbuster-ized.

If anyone sees it, let me know what you think...

I saw I Am Legend on DVD a couple weeks ago.
I love Will Smith, and I liked him in the role.

Thought the storyline was weak.

hmmm. what have I seen lately...

Enchanted - thought it was really cute

Alvin and the Chipmunks - honestly it was better than I expected it to be. Wasn't real impressed by "Dave" but the computer animation was good

Michael Clayton - Really liked it. Superb cast and story with enough twists to not make it predictable.

I really want to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. Maybe I'll buy it for Mike's niece. :)

PS I Love You - I liked it. I'm not sure I got the full impact of it since I watched it with Mike. I spent most of the time trying not to get too emotionally invested since Mike was sitting there. I knew I'd be crying the entire time. It's a bit of a depressing movie. LOL!

Stardust - a lot better than I expected. I really enjoyed it. Robert DeNiro was hillarious as Captain Shakespeare. May have to see if I can find a copy of Neil Gaiman's book.

I liked Stardust. LOL at Robert DeNiro.

Kat--did you see my boyfriend Henry? He looked funny in the movie. Definitely did not play a hottie in this one.

Iron Man - really liked it. Some parts were like glorified Transformers, but still good. It had a SL and wasn't all computer graphics so I enjoyed it.

It took me awhile to recognize him. I think it was the blonde wig. Then again it took me awhile to recognize Ian McKellan as the narrator and that Rupert Everett was one of the brothers.

Finally saw Live Free or Die Hard this weekend. Enjoyable even if there were some unbelievable moments in the plot.

I've never seen any of the other Indy movies, so this one never really caught my interest. I've heard mixed reviews of it though.
