I saw Rabbit Hole - a very good movie. Obviously not the happiest of movies but the acting is amazing.

The Lovely Bones - love Peter Jackson, love the book, but man, the movie just tanked.

Date Night - cute, parts were funny. Kinda disappointed that it wasn't more funny with Tina and Steve.

Country Strong - it wasn't so bad. It took awhile though to get into

Life as We Know It - it wasn't terrible but I thought it would never end

Going to watch the final Harry Potter today :D

Saw HP yesterday - amazing!! They really did a fantastic job with book 7. The only thing I would have liked was for them not to have done the "19 years later" thing in the movie. I would have preferred it to have it end with Harry, Hermione, and Ron as teenagers standing on the roof (or wherever they were) after it was all over - so basically the last scene before the "19 years later"

Over the weekend I watched

You Again - not as bad as I thought it would be
The Fighter - really liked this movie -- more than I thought I would. And I thought Christian Bale was amazing

I've got to re-watch The Fighter. I fell asleep the first time I saw it. But everyone I know who's seen it really enjoyed it.

Watched Water for Elephants and Something Borrowed on the plane ride home.

LOVED Water for Elephants. I thought it captured the book just right. And it was great seeing some color in R. Pat's complexion. LOL! But Rosie stole the show for sure..

Something Borrowed was very cute. I didn't read the book, but I may check it out.

I watched Bridesmaids and was really disappointed. I don't know if it's because of all the hype or what but it wasn't even close to being as good as The Hangover. Bummer!

Really Shanna? I still have to see it but everyone I know says it's hilarious. Maybe it was the hype. I know that happens to me sometimes.

hmm... guess that means I should scratch Bridesmaids off my list since I didn't find The Hangover all that funny

saw The Debt....pretty good but there was a bit of a disconnect between the past and the present parts of the story, mostly I think because of the actors. I kept wanting them to go back to Helen Mirren

I loved Bridesmaids! In fact, I thought it was funnier than Hangover. Melissa McCarthy stole the show for me.

I wouldn't necessarily take it off your list, Kat. I think I just went into it biased and it didn't live up to the hype for me. A loved it! I could be the lone person who didn't like it. lol Everyone I've talked to said they loved it.

Finally, at last! A movie Henry Cavill shot several years ago is being released. The trailer is out. It's called "Immortals" and is out November 11th. It was first called War of the Gods, but went through several incarnations. It has the "300" feeling to it.

I'd love to see it, but the chance of that with a baby is pretty much nil. If anyone gets to see it, I'd love to hear about it.
