Cool. You'll have to let me know what you think of ADM. I probably won't catch it 'til it comes on cable. In Good, he plays a scholar in Berlin right before WWII. I saw the first half, trying to catch the 2nd soon.

Tangled - Loved it! Too cute. Max the horse is awesome. Going to have to buy this one.

Super 8 - really good. Didn't know too much about it other than it was a JJ Abrams/Steven Spielberg collaboration. Definitely had that early 80s Spielberg feel to it - very ET-esque.

kat, I loved Super 8. To me it was a sci-fi Goonies. The kids were awesome! And Tangled was adorable as well.

G - Not sure when I'll get to it, but will let you know whenever I get too ADM.

Saw One for the Money...it wasn't spectacular, but I didn't think it wasn't as bad as the critics have made it out to be. Yes there were some questionable casting choices but a couple of the reviews I read that didn't get it. They were whining that KH's Stephanie was a hapless, bumbling, awkward bounty hunter. Hello? That's not KH's doing. That's exactly what the character is. I could go on, but I'll put that over in the Janet Evanovich thread.

Made for a fun Girls Night Out...one of the group hadn't read the book and she thought it was cute.

Super 8 was good. I agree, it definitely had a Goonies feel to it.

I watched the first Underworld movie after a recommendation from my boss. I liked it! Luckily I got the "double feature" edition at Walmart for $10 so I can watch the next one too. Kat Beckinsdale (sp?) was great in it....and HOT in that leather outfit. LOL

Watched Warrior - not my kind of film since it was based on MMA fighting...but I still thought it was well told, and packed a pretty emotional punch. Despite the fighting scenes, I still found myself teary-eyed.

I like MMA. I want to see it.

The Immortals came out on DVD yesterday. I will be watching it ASAP, just so I can see Henry :-)

Opinions about Hunger Games? Saw it twice over the weekend. Thought it was good, though some details were different than the book. Jennifer Lawrence did a good job. Looking forward to Catching Fire, but don't think that will be here until Nov. 2013.

I'm not going to see it or anything, but several young people I talked to (who went to midnight showings :-) said they really liked it.

I thought the movie was great! It's been a long time since I read the book and I have a horrible memory so I didn't notice much that was changed. There were some things missed that I would have liked to see but understand they can't keep everything.

One complaint that I do have is the shaky camera. My friend was actually starting to feel nauseous. It's definitely worth watching in the theater, IMO.

jnshanna--ITA about shaky cameras. OMG, I hate shaky camera shooting! There are a few shows we watch that have it, and it drives me crazy. Scott loves House, and there was one eppy where the camera was so shaky it was making me feel dizzy & I couldn't even watch it.
