LOL! Yeah - he was great. Even with the way he treated his queen reminded me of Hector.

Oh - and I just read that the men that played the 300 soldiers had to buff themselves up for the roles. drool

OMG Ruby - Gerard Butler was oodles and oodles of yummy in this movie. He was down right gorgeous. His legs, his abs.....faint faint faint! And his fighting reminded me a lot of Hector in Troy.

You do realize don't you that he is one of the actors that Diana Gabaldon has mentioned as her ideal Jamie?

WHAT?!?! Really?!

Well, he'd be a good choice since I love him already. LOL!
And what I'd give to see HIM in a kilt! OMG - the legs on that man.

There's one scene where he's standing completely naked looking over the city. Beautiful - absolutely beautiful.

I saw Pride and Prejudice over the weekend. I haven't seen any other version of it so I can't compare it but I loved it. I'm a big fan of Matthew Macfadyen (he was so great in MI-5) so it was great to see him in a movie - he's really the reason why I wanted to watch the film.

I love that P&P too. Matthew McFayden was great as Darcy. (Although, I really did like Colin Firth in the role too). MMcF was just so expressive and imposing in the role though. I could feel his presence whenever he was in the room.

i still loved Colin Firth more. lol. MMcF wasn't bad, but it was tainted with Kiera in it.

Yeah, I like Gerard Butler too. It's hard for me to imagine anyone as Jamie, but GB is a hottie.

I liked that P&P more than I thought I would. Didn't care for MMcF. But, it was a good succinct, non-9 hour long adaptation. I like KN, but couldn't stand her boyish figure in the Empire-waisted dresses. She looked terrible with her flat-chest and bad hair extensions. It distracted me a lot.

I actually watched her in Domino right after I saw P&P. OMG, so different. Domino was a wacky-crazy movie, but I liked KN kicking ass. And, I liked her short hair in that movie.

I was never a big fan of Keira until that P&P - I just adored her in that role. I've enjoyed her ever since.

Watched Al Gore's Oscar winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth last night. I loved it. He did a very good job with the presentation, and it kept my interest the whole time. I try and be mindful of the environment and energy conservation, but the movie made me want to do even more.

just watched Troy after a long time...god I love Hector and Eric Bana. Achilles is okay, times when I like him, times I don't. Paris.....ugh, that character needed to die in the first 5 minutes along with King Amemegnon. So nice to see Sean Bean as Odysseus.

Has anybody seen Sin City? I have it on my PVR but haven't seen it yet. Is it any good? If not, I'll just erase it......

I saw Sin City. I liked it. It's a different form of filmmaking - the effective was enjoyable for me to watch. A little on the bloody/gore side though.

Love Jessica Alba in the cowgirl outfit too.
