Finally saw Capote. It was an ok movie. Kinda weird subject matter and characters. Phillip Seymour Hoffman did a good job, but his voice as Capote was so dang annoying and irritating. That was the biggest downside to the movie.

I saw The Night Listener with Robin Williams..it was weird. I'v ebeen watching a lot of these movies for some odd reason.

I borrowed Little Miss Sunshine and The Prestige from the kid I tutor.

I really liked The Prestige. I had the big twist figured out before it happened but it was still good.

Saw Blood Diamond this weekend. Very good movie. Funny, I've never thought Leo DiCaprio was all that hot - probably thanks to his being the little kid on Growing Pains and the fact that I hated Titanic - but give the guy an accent and a little bit of scruff and I change my mind.

Also saw The Pursuit of Happyness. A really sweet, feel good movie.

Is Blood Diamond really violent? I want to watch it, but the previews looked really violent.

I loved Blood Diamond. Not only do I love Leo, but Djimon was very good too. It was a very moving movie, very emotional story.

There's definitely violence in it. Shootings, bombings, etc. I didn't feel like it was excessive or gratuitous though. Just a realistic part of the story.

Thanks G. I knew there would be some violence in it, but wasn't sure if it was graphic and excessive.

Thanks! :thumbsup

I agree with G. There's violence but it's not there just for the sake of movie violence. It's an integral part of the story. I didn't think it was overly excessive.

I saw Bride & Prejudice while on vacation. It was okay - corny, cheesy cute. The actress was really pretty!

saw The Prestige the other day..it was good...different. And can never complain with Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman in the mix.

Music & Lyrics with Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant was weird and IMO not very romantic. I was very disappointed.
