you're making me want to re-read the series. Aragorn  I hear ya, in the next two books, I'm speed reading and anxious to get to the Aragorn/Gimli/Legolas scenes. I loved the Mines of Moria scene.

FOTR was on last week, so I watched it twice :-) (mainly just to look at Viggo!)

I totally need to do a marathon. It's been a LONG while since I've watched the movies. And I refuse to watch the television versions without the extended scenes. I'm such a snob. haha.

LOL. I haven't watched all 3 since I first saw them a few years ago. I am hoping Rhett will like them when he is older so we can watch that kind of stuff together.

I check on Viggo's movies from time-to-time. I didn't know he was playing Freud in a movie about psychoanalysis. That's awesome! I would love to see it. I miss him! When I was doing therapy, even I used several Freudian methods at times & am still fascinated by all things psych.

Of course Rhett will like them! You've already exposed him to dungeons and dragons, and the charming Prince. :) Is that room decor still up?

Yeah, his prince stuff is still up. His playroom has castle pics, castle books & wall decals of a dragon, wizard, etc. There is this really cool castle play-tent thing that I can't wait to get for him in a few years. I totally want to play in it! We'll keep his room stuff up until he develops his own likes & tastes for decor that he wants in there. That's why we chose a neutral palette because it does not look too "babyish" & we won't have to re-paint anytime soon.

What a cool room! Bet that was fun to design/decorate!
Finished FOTR -- finally! I'm 50+ pages into The Two Towers -- liking it much better that FOTR -- so far it's all action - yeah!!! I'm going to watch all the dvd's again once I finish reading the trilogy. :hi

btw, has anyone seen Viggo in "Good" -- about a German man who gets caught up in the Nazi regime? Good movie, and Viggo is awesome in it, naturally.

No, I haven't seen that one. I like Viggo movies, so I'll have to look out for that one.

Did you guys see Viggo in "The Road?" I caught some of it (in the middle of the night while feeding the baby). Mind you, I was half asleep so I did not get too much into it. I'd like to finish watching it though.

Wasn't it recently a BOTM book?

Yep, the book was good, and Viggo was great in the movie.

I'm still plugging away at The Two Towers. Don't know why I'm taking so long with this. I set it aside for The English Patient, but will get back to it soon. Gandalf is back! The Ents are marching on Isengard!

that's such a great scene in the movie. So powerful to watch The Ents fighting back in Isengard.
