:lol

The movie is worth seeing - what they were able to do in 1939 really is amazing. And Vivienne Leigh is probably the best example of perfect casting. But...I can't say it's a favorite of mine. There are parts that just seem to drag on and on and on (especially the scenes that focus on the deaths of Scarlett's parents), which is why I can't bring myself to read the whole book.

speaking of Gone with the Wind. Here's an article on NY Times.

Thanks for that article A! OMG, that woman is just like me! Love it! I just sent her a message--she lives near me. She has even more stuff than me & it sounds like she spends way more money on her stuff than I do. The article made Scott feel better, that there is another husband out there who has it worse than he does :-)

There are a lot of festivities this year for the 75th anniversary of the book. None of my friends or family will attend with me, so I never get to attend any of the fun stuff :-( Party poopers!

G - she ever contact you back? Are you part of the Windy network now. :)

Saw The Fighter last night. I thought it was just okay. Didn't understand the big fuss with Melissa Leo's acting in the movie, I thought Amy Adams was better. Christian Bale was very good, but he was so much better in American Psycho.

Next movie is The King's Speech..cannot wait for this one!!

Yeah, she did. She lives not too far from me. I'd love to go check out her collection sometime. It seems like she is really busy gearing up for some of the GWTW 75th book anniversary festivities.
