Corn and Crab Soup

Corn and Crab Soup

1 cup of fresh corn
¼ cup butter
¼ cup plain flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups half and half cream
1 lbs lump crabmeat
Seafood seasoning to taste

Using fresh corn, cut corn from cob, and save scrapings and milk… Set aside… Melt butter in skillet, add
flour and blend very well… Add chicken stock, stirring constantly… Cook until it is thickened and
smooth… Stir in crabmeat, corn, and season to taste… Cook over low fire until corn is tender…
