Cajun Shrimp Creole 4 tbsp butter 1 tbsp cooking oil 1 cup onions chopped 1 cup celery chopped 1 cup bell pepper chopped 3 cloves garlic minced ½ cup green onion chopped 6 tbsp flour 1 16oz can tomato sauce ½ cup hot water ½ tsp sugar Juice from one squeezed lemon Seafood seasoning to taste 3lbs med. Shrimp peeled and deveined Using a black iron pot melt butter, then add cooking oil… Saute all seasonings and veggies for 5minutes… Add tomato sauce, hot water, and sugar, stir well… Then cook on low fire for 30minutes… Season to taste… Add shrimp and let simmer for another 30minutes… Serve over rice with potato salad and hot garlic bread… |
