Name: Aruku Noah "Ru" (Ah-Rue-Coo) Race: Human Gender: Male Age: Fifty-four Abilities: Class: Psychic Evo Metal Alchemy Telepath Appearance Height: Six Feet Seven Inches Weight: Two hundred pounds. Eye Color: Yellow Hair Color: Black Hair Styling: Short and slicked back though it often becomes messy and unkempt when he removes his helm. Skin Color: White, but tanned features. Physique: Mildly muscular similar figure to that of a street brawler. Clothing and Attire Plain Clothes: Plain clothes based on this. Fleet white shirts of cotton and long pants of a darker color often colorize the basic attire of Aruku. Often dawning a more regal looking cloak to match his pants and complete the attire as well as dark shaded boots and a long jacket to cover him. Battle Armor: Based off this Armor. Plate mail shined to a gleam and polish to reflect tis golden appearance. At first appearing gaudy the styling of the designs upon the shoulder reflect the twin feathers of the Wingless Sigil. While his helmet is merely a full masked helm of the same color A large red cloak flowing behind him. Personality Cautious; Bearing in mind his position he always errs on the side of cautious even with those he believes allies and trustworthy. Simply believing that no matter how close one gets to another should a chance appear for one to prosper from the betrayal of a friend the chance should and will be taken. Passionate: While his calm demeanor is shown most of the time it is often easy to break as his passionate nature can rise up from within especially when it comes to battle as he finds that he can release his true nature more easily through the sword rather then the words or a quill. Intelligent: While in battle he remains a fervor driven, and emotional filled fighter outside of it he is known to use tact and wit to gain the upper hand believing that he mustn't ever allow a foe to outsmart him because that could ultimately cost him everything. Merciless The world is built on the notion that even if their would only be two men left on this world one would eventually ask for the demise of the other. It is by this notion that Aruku does what is absolutely needed of him and shows very little regret for cruel or often disgraceful actions believing only in the success or completion of the task above all else. Honest/Blunt: Often times speaking his mind and rather then trying to deceitfully find and gain what he wants he will be forward and blunt about it often time stepping on toes from this trait of honesty he has. Lying is difficult for him mainly because he has grown to wear his emotions close to the surface rather then down deep within him despite his usual demeanor. History Within the ranks of the Wingless there are only a few who could truly tell you the story of Aruku. Among them stood those who had been by him and Norman from the beginning. Some of them would say he was born from a stone, and others a monster that took upon human form at the behest of a mortal. In truth Aruku had been orphaned and left to fend for himself from a young age. Born from a bandits prisoner who left the boy on the steps of her village chief's door. The chief took pity on him and raised the boy till the age of eight teaching him the means to survive on his own. Quickly left to fend for himself with nothing more then a knife and some essentials that the village chief had been kind enough to give him. It was at this age he learned quickly that the world had abandoned him and left him to fend for himself which he did rather well gaining the support of nearby villages by dealing with some of the more problematic predators. For two years the boy gained even more popularity and learned to fight from passing warriors and used this to hone his techniques to the point of exceptional accuracy and skill for one so young. It was that very skill that true the attention of a young trader by the name of Vincent Wing who took the boy under his wing so to speak teaching the boy what he had not known before and traveling with him for two years before proclaiming that he would bring the young Aruku home with him to the city of Kalingard. Confused at first by what he meant by that Aruku followed the man who had taught him the ins and outs of the trade world among other things. Aruku held contempt for the city he found himself in while following Vincent though he grew accustomed to it while he lived there with Vincent and his family. A Wife and a young son who was as interesting and unique as the man Aruku initially joined up with. It was here in front of them that Vincent announced he would adopt Aruku to the concern of his wife and joy of his Son whom Aruku came to know as Norman Wing. At first heads were butted all around by the family and the young Aruku who didn't observe most of the rules of the city despite constant reminders. Trouble was always close to him and often brought trouble to Norman who tagged along at first with him before becoming the leader with Aruku following close behind his new brother. It was the year of their fourteenth birthdays that the two had decided together with Norman starting and Aruku finishing the idea to build something for themselves and to conquer their ever growing thirst for adventure. The two were quick to argue about a name, about a leader, and as their words failed them the both decided their skill would be the final say. With fervor and power the duel struck the other at first with just fist the battle progressed fine for Aruku as he dominated his brother in pure power, Soon though his brothers planning and skill led to Aruku being pushed back in till he was left on one knee looking up at his brother. A knife to his throat with a roar of defeat surging through him he claimed his brother the leader of the Wingless. A disgusting barb at his brother and the family that took him in. Aruku tried to apologize only to see his brother Norman excited for the name and declare that the Wingless Guild was formed in the year 170 AF. Within their first year they had a base within Kalingard with thriving members having used a little donation money from their father and mother to start their trading organization it was Aruku that pushed them into more adventuring gaining the reputation of capable warriors. People at first flocked to the guild as the two young man rose the business up unafraid of the cutthroat bull crap that riddled the Kaligard trade scene. Raising above the petty competitions even surviving assassination attempts and returning the favor to those who had attempted them. For ten years the guild held strong and Aruku was happy alongside his brother they lead the guild on its first incursion in a mad attempt to try and tame an area of the Serpent sea for passage. It was bold, but within the guild some whispered they may be able to do it. So Aruku found a ship capable fearing a multitude of ships would only draw unwanted attention and attempts of sabotage by their enemies. Aruku and Norman agreed to one ship. Christened the "Nephilim". With hearts and heads held high sixty-five men and woman including Aruku and his brother boarded the ship and set sail for the dreaded seas. Their journey however did not lead them out to see as a scouts report led them to the isle of Azzeth and with an incursion party of fifty they stepped from their ship exploring the changed landscape uncertain of what the cause had been. It was here that Aruku had met them, the unimaginable had taken root their demons of all size and shape swarmed the Guilds members and tore into their ranks. Norman and Aruku fought hard alongside their brothers drawing blood and putting a demon down here and there. However the two were overwhelmed and with the help of those who survived managed to return to the ship and flee back to the mainland. The ship sailed amongst a solemn mood as the survivors heard the tales from the two leaders who now sat wounded but determined to warn those in charge. Returning quickly Aruku boldly strove to publicly proclaim to the leaders of Kalingard what had partook upon their voyage only to be mocked, laughed at and even with Norman's aide the two were labeled madman and the Wingless guild such as well. Their enemies struck on their weakness targeting those who still sought to join and using them to destroy what was left of the guilds reputation driving those who would remain into hiding from the sudden persecution. Aruku in a rage swore vengeance while Norman was quick to stop his brother proclaiming that now was not the time. In his anger he called his brother a coward and went to strike him only to have his brothers hand force him to the ground intill his mind had calmed as Norman explained the plan to Aruku who began to understand what his brother would have them do. They went into hiding dismantling the public bases of the Wingless and keeping the trade operations up from out of sight dealing with those who sought them slowly over twenty years. In shadows they build back up what was lost regaining members, building the trade empire that their enemies had dared to take from them. For years they kept to the shadows and within them grew as warriors as leaders and as a guild with the goal of preparing for the Demons that had started their downfall. That was only in till the day Aruku heard his brothers doubt, his fears, and the signs of betraying all they had done. At first Aruku didn't know what to do and stood shocked at the man he had followed for so long, now having doubts about it all. Anger quickly seized him as he called his brother a coward and a traitor. His brother retorted swiftly declaring a challenge to the death to Aruku saying that should Aruku defeat him he may lead the guild as he sees fit. Agreeing in anger he decided the location of the battle would be upon the shore of the Serpent sea. They met surrounded by two hundred members of their guild. Aruku and Norman dueled with the fiery passion that had led many before them to follow the two into self exile. With the stage set Aruku and Norman fought with the fire and will inside them on the line for what seemed like hours as the battle raged along the beach with each gaining the upper hand for the longest time no winner could be seen and it was not intill a lucky block from Aruku followed through with a thrust into Norman's gut led him to the victory. Quickly that accomplishment led him to tears as he held his dying brother claiming apology after apology for what he had said and done before. Norman only forgave him and asked him for only one thing to lead them with a brave face and a sure heart. And as Norman lay dead the young Aruku stood his tears dried he screamed and his men screamed with him echoing the chants of rage and fury of their newly appointed leader. Aruku knew he had to live up to his brothers ambition and promised the men that they would return to the world, no longer cowering in the shadows. They would only have to be a bit more patient with him. Edited by DamagedHero, Dec 15 2016, 10:48 PM.
