Name: Elena Pellazio
Race: Barovian
Gender: Female
Age: mid twenties
Abilities: Tag, Flash, Familiar

Familiar: The name of the small butterfly most commonly found perched on Elena's shoulder or hair, is Seere; and yes, he's very small, but he's pretty hardy for a butterfly. On his wings are every color of the rainbow, so it gives the illusion that a small orb of shifting color is flying through the air when he's moving extra quickly.

Appearance: Elena's hair keeps changing colors, but her vibrant blue eyes always stay the same; with a trademark glare that (she says) stares daggers in to the very soul of her prey... just... not so much. When she's not dying it, the hair is platinum blonde and falls almost to her waist; a thick, wavy mane of unkempt near-silver.

Wardrobe: Since she's a treasure hunter, Elena's outfit depends primarily on where she's going. Don't wanna get caught in the tundra in a mini-skirt, that's for damned sure. And Alendia? Not exactly a great place for wool.

City/Towns: Now, the CITY is the place for mini-skirts. Except hers is more of a mini-dress. It's silk, and it's a very dark blue; simple but complete with a v-cut neck, and spaghetti straps. While she's out, she wears a long pale blue coat over it, which only buttons from chest to hips (she leaves the top three undone), and carries a slit in the back which runs all the way up to where a jacket would end. Long belled sleeves and golden accents add a touch of class to the outfit, along with her gold and sapphire (matching) ring, necklace, and earrings; and dark blue sapphire heels with straps that spiral up her calves. She pulls her hair up in to a thick ponytail with her favorite ribbon: a long strip of sapphire blue lace lined with gold.

Too Hot: With the sun beating so harshly on her back, Elena wears as little and as much as she can; which is actually a lot simpler than it sounds. A bright white, very thin, poncho covers the entirety of her, and serves as a two-birds-one-stone type deal: The white helps reflect the sun, the fabric helps save her skin from it's rays (and sandstorms!). Underneath, a lavender bikini top and darker purple shorts preserve her dignity; and simple tan sandals protect her feet.

Too Cold: A thick, thick, -thick- lambskin coat dyed maroon, with a bright red design overlaying it, and lined all the way through with wool. Her pants are black, tucked in to thick black boots; three layers peek out from the neck of the coat darkening tones of gray.

Where the Caravans Won't Go: Light, Loose olive cargo pants allow for easy carrying space. Thick brown boots give extra traction, and a bit more resistance for any low-lying nasties that might want to bite at her ankles. Ringing her hips is a brown leather belt, from the back of which she hangs a decently sized leather pouch, inside of which she carries such necessities as rations, flint-stones, and the like. The white tank-top doesn't actually serve any purpose, but hey... it's comfy, she likes how it looks with the pants, and it's tight enough not to snag on anything and become a pain in the ass.

Theme Songs:

Personality: Okay, yeah, see here's the thing... Elena has opinions on pretty much everything, and she's pretty sure she's right about them; so yes, she will bash you over the head with something if you don't wanna listen. No, she doesn't know what. Probably a fish or something. Whatever's nearby, really. It's not so much about her temper-- she'll go right on ahead telling you just how great you and your ideas are while she's hitting you with stuff-- she's just very... as she puts it... 'enthusiastic' about the way she wants things done. You wanna get the highest yield possible from all that dungeon diving, right? Right. So does everyone else. Elena just doesn't take disappointment quite as well.

History: Elena wanted to be a bounty hunter since she was very young, and took all the right avenues. Bounty hunting's dangerous, so she went and found someone to teach her how to fight. She was going to have to find these people, so she went and studied some geography. She had every intention of camping out outside of wherever these people were, so she went out and learned some survival skills the hard way.

What she didn't see coming, was an astounding lack of bad guys to wrangle up by the time she got back from that last one. As a matter of fact, the prison was closing up!

Elena was furious. How could that even happen?! But there would always be crime! Always be people who committed it! Were they all just getting away, all of a sudden? Or was there something bigger going on--

--and so, Elena came up with a conspiracy theory. -Obviously- there was some underground crime organization running amuck in Requiem; AND THEY HAD GOTTEN CONTROL OF THE PRISON! So their buddies couldn't get locked up! And they killed the market for bounty hunters while they were at it! How dare they?!

OR-- and this was a minor or, but an or all the same-- There was some OTHER organization, forcing peace and order on the world of Requiem, and taking away the criminals' drive to do things that were criminal! This was less of a threat to the community, but a personal affront to her-- How dare they!

So, Elena had to tweak her occupation a bit to compensate for this not-so-new development; and Elena the unsung bounty hunter became Elena the Treasure Hunter. The problem with -that- was, that treasure hunting is a whole lot different from bounty hunting. Bounty hunting got the luxury of a bulletin board, maybe even an organized roster of wanted criminals to hunt down.

Treasure hunting? Not so much. That stuff was usually stuff that got lost, hence the fact that it was up for grabs. Every now and then, she found someone who lost something or dropped something while traveling somewhere, and wanted her to retrieve it; but those cases weren't quite as common as she thought they should be, and there was one itching problem with them: She didn't get to keep the treasure.

Treasure, she found out on her first job, was shiny. And she likes shiny. She likes shiny a lot.
