First post in this sub-forum ... yeah me! Don't expect a critic's review here or anything so dumb. Watched the movie last night on IMAX 3D and I thought it was good fun. It wasn't as brain-dead as, say, Transformers and didn't try to preach to the audience. It wasn't high art. It was still a monster movie but the action was satisfyingly chunky, the effects were good, and there was enough - just about - of a human element to keep things interesting. |

It looks very colorful. I'm apprehensive to see it. The "not-as-brain-dead-as-Transformers" gives me hope, though. |
