Happy Thanksgiving. It's difficult this time of year to be around the forums, what with family gathering for food and glad-handing, and presents being tossed around like they went out of style last season. Luthe gains an uncharacteristically enlarged heart, approximately 1 inch wide (2mm wider than any other time of the year). Ladies and gentlemen begin dancing in the streets, and no one knows why. It's probably all of that silver confetti, that you all call "snow", getting them in the spirit of the season. Until Monday, December 1st, post here and give us a list of five people that you're thankful for, and why. These can be Mythwood members, family, friends, or anyone else who has made an impact on your life. With each person, include a short (1-2 sentence) explanation of why you're thankful. Completing this list will not only make you jolly and increase your humanity level by +24 points, but you will also receive a +10 post boost on Mythwood. It's the beginning of the holiday season. Be merry. |

My family - Without them, I wouldn't really be here. Without their aid in helping me to the hospital 7 years ago, I'd be long gone and would never had met anyone here. Davina - Getting my head out of the mud after some drama that I shouldn't let get to me. She helped me out and understand what I should look for in life. Luthe - Giving me a chance to play the Djinn in which I still need to post before I lose that right <.< My bud Kyle - I helped him during Super Storm Sandy. And to be honest, him and I go way back when we were in middle school together. He's a brother to me and I'm thankful that he is alright and that I could aid him with giving him a place to stay and eat and be closer to his job. Music - Music you question? Because music itself embodies our thoughts, our lives and influences in some way, whether it helps us in our roleplay or unleashing feeling that understands the current mood. You may not understand it but the thought of music itself and the feeling it gives you can be empowering, and with that, I am thankful for it. |

My daughter Well shit, beyond her being my daughter and removing a blockage in her upper respiratory system twice this year and third time yesterday. She is one of the few people I have a great connection too. Don't know my life without her now. My wife She deals with my shit and hasn't killed me, yet. Do I need to write more? The Entire Republican Party For being fucktards (Senators and Representives). Congress For being fucktards and wish I could claim them as dependent a for tax reasons and not the homeless. My parents For dealing with me and my shit all these years. Oh and watching my daughter. |

Hmm, interesting. Get to learn new things about people, sharing time! My brother- Always has advice for things i got questions on. Most of the time he's right too. Caithann- He's put up with me for god knows how long now, and is still around.. mostly. Family- 'Cause when all else fails, they're there for you no matter how stupid you're being. Alyssa- Ya'll dunno her but she's been around for awhile and we've been through a good amount of ups and downs. Mythwood peeps- Lumping the rest of you together here, cause ya know, ya'll keep me semi sane. It's a good thing.. I think. |

Hmm... (Btw: Music isn't a peoples. You mean you're thankful for the -artists-.) 1. My Mom and brother. I mean, who in the hell else would take a four hour drive (twice) four times so I can eat their food for a holiday? And then drive me around to get stuff throughout the trip? 2. Mythwood people cause... you all know why; and if you don't, you're silly. 3. My sister. Even though we don't talk as much anymore, no one else on this planet understands me like she does. 4. My niece, who is growing up beautifully; and who continues to inspire me. 5. The people of my town. They're not this nice everywhere. |

Mythwood Yoes: I have a problem were I need to be in charge of something. Y'all give me an outlet for that need. You also stick around and entertain my jack-assery when it rears, which is odd, and deserves a bit of thankfulness on my part. My Grandmother: She's done fantastic things for my family, and much to her detriment. Raising two generations wasn't what she had planned for her long and weary life, I'm sure. My Cat: She lowers my blood pressure. Nothing like a round of heavy petting. Meow? Did that sound weird? I don't think so. Cats are people. Birds are not. Birds are dicks. Fish and bugs are, likewise, not people.Jennifer from work: I'm fairly certain that she landed me the job that I have now (which I desperately needed at the time of my employment) with some inside finagling. She's also pleasantly cynical. Those who technically fit into the "friend" category: For putting up with me for years. Old age has calmed me down, a bit. Some things I can now internalize, where they just fester as a mental illness instead of whirlwind destroying everything in my path. |
