DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THE U.S. SPENT ON THE YOLANDA DISASTER RELIEF OPERATION?

Rough estimate puts it at US$500 MILLION.

This includes;
- fuel for its helicopters, planes, trucks and huge ships
- salaries of its men involved in the operation
- food and supplies for its men
- maintenance cost
- tons of relief goods
- other expenses related to the relief operations

The people of the United States spent their millions worth of taxpayer's money to help the victims of Yolanda.

That millions worth of taxpayer's money could have funded free education and healthcare for its own people. But these people gave this to help our Filipino folks instead.

Japan offered $10 million in aid and sent in an emergency relief team while Australia donated $9.6 million.

Coca-Cola Company donated more than $2.5 million in cash and aid material, including 129,000 cases of water.

And how much did China pledged?

Less than 2 million dollars!

Coca-Cola, a private company even donated a bigger amount.

And a pledge is just a pledge until it becomes actual cash or materials.

So, with this alone, you can imagine who has the bigger heart and commitment to help the Filipinos.

Filipinos with a sane mind will clearly see who is our real friend.
