First off I won't be able to get to all 20 teams before the season starts so if anyone else wants to do any previews feel free. I'll start with Colorado since Pazz has done so much getting this league going.

Colorado Avalanche
Forwards
A very nice mixture of young and proven talent. It very possible both Tyler Seguin could end up in the top 10 of league scoring by the end of the year. Marchand and Oshie provide good secondary scoring, while Elias Lindholm and Mikael Backlund are young enough that they could still develop into first liners. Possibly an all star for Lindholm. Burrrows, Benoit Pouliot, Heatley and Havlat have all been scorers in the past and could see bounce back seasons. The quality of depth is very good but the quantity is lacking. If multiple injuries strike there could be trouble

Defence
This is the first preview but I can't see many defence corps better than this. All six are arguably top pairing guys on their team. Top 3 at worst. Just like up front there is a nice mix of youth with Hedman, Carlson and Seth Jones and steady veterans like Dan Boyle, Hamhuis and Kronwall. (I guess Carlson is both young and a veteran haha) On the bench are Tom Gilbert and David Savard. Not all-stars but definitely solid contributors.
Grade: A

Goaltending
Hard to call this a weak spot with Cory Schneider, but compared to forwards and d, this isn't as strong. Scneider is definitely in the upper tier of goalies, but it remains to be seen if he can be elite. If he goes down a trade may be neccesary as Alex Stalock and Jussi Rynnas are the backups.
Grade: B

Entry Draft
4th Overall - Leon Draisaitl
33rd - Jayce Hawryluk
43 - Julius Bergman
48 - Nicholas Aube-Kubel
62 - Justin Kirkland
73 - Brandon Halverson
88 - Alex Lintuniemi
113 - Matheson Iacopelli
128l - Ryan Mantha

Nothing wrong with this. As an Oiler fan I'm obviously a fan of Draisaitl. Down the road he has to pass RNH if he is going to be a first line centre, but even if he doesn't he could be one of the better 2nd liners in the league. Hawryluk and Aube-Kubel are two guys who I view with top 6 potential
Grade: B-

Prospects:
Apart from Dariasaitl there is no one here who looks like a future star, but there are definitely quality players. Conner Brown is a high risk guy but if he puts it together he could be a top liner. Teddy Blueger, Markus Granlund, Ryan Hartman and Jason Akeson look like pretty safe bets to be NHL players. On D Griffin Reinhart is a stud, Jake McCabe and Stuart Percy are the other two who stand out to me. Things are particularly strong in goal with Martin Jones, although he will most likely have to be traded before he can become a starter. Philip Grubauer, Joni Ortio and Anders Nillsson have already played in the NHL and have bright futures.
Grade B+
