| Welcome to the Navy Field Spriting Project. We rose after the decline of the NGP, which succeeded its predecessor TBNF. We have several sprites by both teams and we still work on sprites of our own! Hop in, join in the community, and add some style to your game! If you are a guest, you may browse and download from our complete sprite and mod database. However, to view some behind the scenes work and see more about what we do, join our spriting team, or report an issue, then please register for the board. Join our community! |

Here's an NGP post: http://s15.zetaboards.com/NGP/topic/6921219/1/#new The only thing different is, when he is looking for holes in the sprites, he does a layer switch and changes the colors to highlight the areas where there are transparencies. Well, using Gimp, I just select the Color Picker, set the index to 0, and then select the pure black area outside the ship. Then I go to the paint changing window, I set it to the HTML code 000001 (almost true black but something NF realizes as a real color) and using the Paintbrush I then mow down all the little spots that are highlighted for me in the center. Kind of an easy process. |
