Welcome to the Navy Field Spriting Project. We rose after the decline of the NGP, which succeeded its predecessor TBNF. We have several sprites by both teams and we still work on sprites of our own! Hop in, join in the community, and add some style to your game!

If you are a guest, you may browse and download from our complete sprite and mod database. However, to view some behind the scenes work and see more about what we do, join our spriting team, or report an issue, then please register for the board.

The list is in 2 places - a list of turret ID numbers and ship sprite file names, in the Resource Pool (click the quicklink at the top).

Also, SPRing (one of the tools you should have downloaded by now from the resource pool) knows on its own what to open.

In future put stuff like this in the Staff Room. This subforum is really meant for requests for new mods.

Well, I've never actually opened that file. But judging from its contents it is a file which the application uses to build up the menus which are like the quick-open menus. Note that the text file has a close similarity to the menus inside SPRing. There are "categories" , it's all divided up, including several source URL's. This is code we're looking at here.

My bet is that if we change this file we could change the build menu which SPRing uses. This means one thing - we now know how to modify SPRing to match current versions of NavyField, because the one currently available is outdated.

**Edit**
I have opened it and checked it. You did find the source file that SPRing uses to setup the menus, nice work! It's late tonight for me but Monday after the event I should have an updated version of SPRing available for release.
