Trade Rules: Post your trade on the forum, the trade becomes valid when both teams post acceptance. Once a trade is posted, all managers are emailed asking to vote on the trade based on collusion, logic & league effect. Owners that vote veto are encouraged to explain. The trade will be monitored by the committee (checked on throughout the day) If the votes on the trade reach 10 approve and 0 veto, then the trade will be processed If a veto is received before the 10 approve votes are received, the trade will be left open for vote If the trade reaches 15 approve votes before reaching 4 veto votes, the trade will be approved If the trade reaches 4 veto votes at any time, the trade will be reviewed by the trade committee If 36 hours pass before any of these scenarios happen, and the trade has more than 5 votes to pass and fewer than 2 votes to veto, the trade will be processed If the trade has fewer than 5 votes to pass or more than 2 votes to veto, the trade will be reviewed by the trade committee TRADE COMMITTEE (Sabres, Coyotes, Bruins) the trade committee will address the trade in question & will give their opinion on the trade in terms of why they think it is good/bad for each team involved the trade committee will then vote on the trade once all explanations are heard and/or discussed if for any reason a member of the trade committee can not come to a decision, the LM, Jets, will vote in his place (unless the LM is involved in the trade in question, then the Oilers will vote in his place, unless the Oilers are also a part of the trade in question, then the *next team* will vote in his place) The trade committee may ask either manager involved in the trade to provide an explanation as to why they are making the trade (these accounts will be taken into consideration along with the trade committee's views when a decision is being made) any member of the trade committee can not review, vote, or discuss (unless asked for a reason by the trade committee) on a trade that they are involved in Once a decision is made, the trade committee will post their decision on the forum, explaining how they came to the decision If a trade is vetoed is must be modified to be reviewed again Draft Picks for the current year can be traded once the season begins Draft Picks for the Minor league draft and the FA draft can be traded.
