Thursday 26th October 2017; Training ride!
Topic Started: Oct 26 2017, 06:52 PM (256 Views)
Roger Haydock

A revived training ride met at 10am at Ribchester Bridge, Martin Wilcox, Mark Pierce,Nigel Bond, Pete Duerden,
Tim Lawson, Tony ( friend of Tims), Karl Smith, Chris Miller and myself set off through Ribchester and towards Longridge picking up Mark Goodchild on the way. After a steady ride to and through Longridge, we did a session of through and off up to the A6, then steady again to St Michaels, before another session of through and off up to Cockerham then steady to Scorton for a welcome refuelling stop. 2 large tables were already full of our club riders who had been there for some time.
Our ride back started steadily but Tim felt the need for another session of through and off which not all of us could cope with, so Mark, Nigel, Chris and myself dropped off and continued to Longridge at an easier pace. We then continued back to Whalley dropping people off en route.
I got home having done 75ml @ 18mph.
