Wonderful weather continues to delight us.
17 riders gathered at Spring Wood.
What a pleasure to see Dave R ( Clitheroe ) back with us, in the saddle and riding well. He has obviously worked hard to regain his fitness after his quadruple heart bypass. Bravo !
Several regulars were missing today - holidays perhaps.
I suggested a loop through Mitton, Cow Ark, Wildboar Fell, Chipping with a stop at The Little Town Dairy for eats. All seemed keen.
We set off steadily and stayed together.
It was extremely hot. Clear blue skies with only a light breeze - cycling weather that we dream of.
We had no problems at all and landed at the cafe ready to top our bottles up and eat/ drink.
We sat inside as the only 2 tables outside with canopies were occupied. It was too stuffy though and several moved outside again. There was a long wait for some eats but the young lass serving apologised. No one was in a rush ( except Harry ).
We turned right back towards Chipping turning for Chaigley. There wasn’t too much traffic as we neared Bashall Eaves and successfully climbed back up to Spring Wood - 16 of us as Bill A had cut short.

33 miles 13.00 ave.
A lovely ride
