I think we should have a factbook or dispatch for Pro-Life International giving an overview of the organization. It would be pinned to the PLI regional page; and the Diplomatic Assembly could pass a resolution requesting or requiring that member regions pin the factbook/dispatch to their main pages too to bring more attention to the alliance and, hopefully, to get more players involved here.

Does anybody think this is a good idea; and, if so, what sorts of things ought to be included in the factbook/dispatch?

I guess, for example, this could be the first FAQ.

What is Pro-Life International?

Pro-Life International, or PLI, is a multiregional and multinational organization that seeks to promote the pro-life cause on NationStates. The alliance was established in 2013 shortly after the first World Conference for Life by four regions: the Coalition of Catholic States, the International Christian Union, the League of Christian Nations, and Right to Life.

Just a few rough thoughts, and these should probably be edited a bit before inclusion in the FAQ's.

Who can join Pro-Life International?

There are two kinds of membership in PLI, diplomatic and military. Regions that are all or mostly pro-life can join the Diplomatic League. Individual nations who follow the procedure laid out in the PLI Covenant are welcome to join the Military League.

=====

How do I join PLI?

If your region is all or mostly pro-life, one or several of your leaders (Founder, WA Representative, President, etc.) should submit an request to the Assembly of the Diplomatic League for review. If accepted, your region will become a member of the Diplomatic League.

If your region is not all or mostly pro-life, or if it is not interested in joining the diplomatic wing of PLI, you may make an individual application to join the Military League. Details of the relevant procedures may be found in Chapter C., Section C3. of the PLI Covenant.

=====

What is the purpose of the Diplomatic League?

The purpose of the Diplomatic League is twofold. First, it seeks to advance the pro-life cause on NationStates through diplomatic (non-military) means. This includes drafting proposals to the World Assembly, hosting events, and facilitating dialogue on pro-life issues throughout NationStates. Second, it seeks to foster unity and stability among the various pro-life regions within NS.

=====

What is the purpose of the Military League?

The purpose of the Military League is threefold. First, it provides a source of defense to pro-life nations whose military may be small or non-existent. Second, it provides training to the members that may not be available in their home regions. Third, it seeks to advance the pro-life cause through military gameplay. This may include raids on warzones, participation in missions with other allies, or other actions.

How does this look? Do we need to add any questions?

(I still need to come back and proofread this later.)
