Remember the Ovy! My Final Announcement Psychological Health Warning: Many people have reported strong feelings of anger, irritation, and annoyance after reading Ovybia's politically incorrect posts. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you are experiencing these or other related symptoms, we recommend taking a glass of water and contacting your keyboard immediately with your fingers, as these actions usually help relieve the pain. If the pain is not alleviated within 2-4 minutes, as a last resort, one could always become logical. The preceding prescriptions were carefully selected by experts after extensive research on the subject; the prescriptions mentioned have been proven to present the highest possible cure to death ratio. | |

Rough Draft: Phydios wins re-election to the Presidency (By Texoma): The regional elections were held on August 1-4 for President of Right to Life. The candidates were Phydios, the Incumbent President who ran on the Life Party’s nomination, Stellonia who ran as an Independent, and Texoma who ran on the Conservative Federalist Party’s nomination. Halfway through the election, Texoma dropped out and endorsed Phydios for re-election. Phydios ended up winning the election with 7 votes versus Stellonia’s 6 votes. Turnout for this election was 13 out of 24 eligible voters. Culture of Life opens the regional Office of Labor (By Texoma): Culture of Life opened the regional Office of Labor on July 31st, citizens of Right to Life can apply for a job in the Right to Life Army, Regional News Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Justice Court of Right to Life, Bank of Right to Life, and the Recruitment Office of Right to Life by putting in an application through the regional Office of Labor. Several citizens have already applied for jobs through this Office so far, making it a success overall. New Dolgaria rules in favor of Right to Life Government in Ovybia V. Right to Life (By Texoma): In a high profile case, Ovybia sued the Government of Right to Life over the removal of Ovybia as the Director of the Right to Life Bank. After 9 days of deliberation, New Dolgaria ruled that the Government of Right to Life was Not Guilty on all 4 counts Ovybia had sued the Government on as listed in the case of Ovybia V. Right to Life. New Dolgaria rules in favor of Right to Life Government in West Appledale V. Right to Life (By Texoma): In a more recent case, West Appledale sued the Government of Right to Life over the denial of her citizenship application. After 22 days of deliberations, New Dolgaria found the Government of Right to Life Not Guilty on the basis that the denial was done so with an abundance of caution (based on the fact that Isola of Life, another citizen, shared the same IP address with West Appledale). Two new Political Parties formed in Right to Life (By Texoma): On August 20,2015, two new Political Parties were formed in Right to Life. The Libertarian Party of Right to Life and the Liberals for Life Coalition. The Libertarian Party was formed by Texoma and Stardusted Sky, the Liberals for Life Coalition was formed by Greater Gibraltar and the rouge Christmas State. Petition to expand the Right to Life Senate fails to reach a vote (By Texoma): Texoma put forth a petition in order to amend the Right to Life Constitution Article 4, Section 1, Article 4, Section 2, and Article 6, Section 3 to expand the Senate from 2 to 4 members and the Supermajority needed in the Senate for certain votes as a correlation. However, in the petition process, the amendments failed to reach the 20% of Citizens needed for the petition to move on to a regional referendum, thus the petition was dropped. The rouge Christmas State and Horatius Cocles elected to the Senate (By Texoma): The regional Senate elections were held from October 1-4. The candidates were Xinxian, a member of the Life Party, Horatius Cocles, a member of the Life Party, the rouge Christmas State, running on the nomination of the Conservative Federalist Party, Texoma, a member of the Libertarian Party, and No Serfdom, a member of the Libertarian Party. During the election, Xinxian and Texoma both dropped out and endorsed the rouge Christmas State. Subsequently, The RCS and Cocles were elected as Senators with 9 votes and 7 votes respectively, with Texoma and Xinxian receiving 3 votes and 1 vote respectively, and No Serfdom receiving no votes. Turnout for this election was 20 out of 34 eligible voters. Another party shake-up (By Texoma): In the past few days, the shape of the parties suddenly changed; previously the Life Party had been the dominant party in Right to Life, however following an influx of new citizens and party affiliation changes, the Libertarian Party of Right to Life became the largest party in the region with 8 members, followed by the Life Party with 7 members, then the Conservative Federalist Party with 4 members, and then the Liberals for Life Coalition with 2 members. |
