This election thread will close on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Make sure to cast your ballot by then.

This election will be conducted using instant run-off voting (IRV), which is also known as the alternative vote and as preferential voting. The following sources provide information on how IRV works:

http://www.instantrunoff.com/instant-runoff-home/the-basics/how-irv-works/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y3jE3B8HsE
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant-runoff_voting

To vote, rank the candidates on the ballot in the order of your preference (e.g. rank your favorite candidate with the number 1, your second favorite candidate with the number 2, and so on); you may rank as many candidates as you please. In the IRV voting system, you do not need to vote strategically.

Remember that your vote will not be counted if:

a) you are not a member of the Life Party at the time at which you cast your ballot.
b) you post your ballot more than once in this thread.
c) you fail to post your ballot in this thread.
d) you edit your ballot after the designated closing time for this thread (Wednesday at noon).
e) you give multiple candidates the same rank on your ballot (e.g. two candidates both ranked second choice).
f) you skip a rank on your ballot (e.g. a candidate is ranked third choice, but no candidate is ranked second choice).
g) you fail to use the ballot template located below.

Here is the template for your ballot. Make sure to fill it out and copy it into your post:

“It is significant that, as innocent babies are killed, and capital punishment is withheld from their murderers, the same men who plead for the murderer's life also demand the “right” to abortion. Usually, the same picketers that carry a sign one day, “Abolish Capital Punishment,” also carry “Legalize Abortion” another day. When this is called to their attention, their answer is, “There is no contradiction involved.” They are right: the thesis is “condemn the innocent and free the guilty.” ~ R. J. Rushdoony, founder of Christian Reconstructionism

"Don't give up! I believe in you all.
A person's a person, no matter how small!
And some very small persons will not have to die
If you make yourselves heard! So come on, now, and TRY!" ~Dr. Seuss, Horton Hears a Who
