I like these ideas. In my opinion, the next newsletter should include the following stories:
I really like the Trump idea. You can write that story!

All aboard the Trump train, or not? By, The RCS ![]() Like many nations and regions throughout NationStates the 2016 United States Presidential election took the forefront of conversation for many weeks in October and early November. The all-anticipated election night arrived with nations on both sides of the political spectrum awaiting the results of the election; to the surprise of many, the underdog, Donald J. Trump, took the victory through the Electoral College This stunning upset of the favorite, Hillary R. Clinton, came to the merriment of many nations in Right to Life, who believed that an outsider and experienced businessman like Trump would get America back on the right tracks. New Missouri, an advocate for a Trump presidency, when asked about why they supported him, said, "I think Trump is right for America because he is an outsider, look at what politicians have done in the last 8 years. I think Trump can clean up Washington and Drain the Swamp!" These themes of Trump being an outsider and having the business experience to get the economy back on track were the main reasons why many nations supported him. Not everyone in Right to Life were thrilled with a Trump victory. New Dolgaria, the Justice of peace in Right to Life, said when asked about why they don't like Trump, "Well, I think everyone knows he said some really disgusting things on the campaign and generally behaved very immaturely, and he appealed to various forms of bigotry. Since the election, he's continued to behave immaturely and has lined up people with questionable qualifications, murky histories, and shadowy motives for his cabinet - a far cry from "draining the swamp". At the same time, he seems to be backing off the promises he made to his base during his campaign (such as the infamous "wall"), showing how little he actually cares about what he said to get votes. He's even called his supporters "crazy" and "vicious"." Both sides have voiced their concerns and praises of the political wild card Donald Trump. The electors have voted and everything is final. Trump is sure to face much opposition from a nation that is more divided than ever and gave more votes to Hillary Clinton. I guess in time we will know if Donald Trump means good or will be like many politicians that are all talk and no action. Edited by The RCS, Thursday Dec 29 2016, 12:59 AM.

I like the story. I would delete the last paragraph though. My recommendation: Replace it with something about Trump's position on abortion since our newsletter is a pro-life publication. http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/donald-trump-reaffirms-abortion-stance-on-60-minutes-w450372 |

Right, but please don't sing his praises. I bet you that'll get us labelled fascist, and make me a tad angry. I suggest the following: Breaking precedent for GOP nominees, Mr. Trump has sent mixed messages on abortion: though he is officially against the practice, and reinforced this stance on the campaign trail, he has also defended the actions of organizations such as Planned Parenthood. Regardless of our political opinions on Trump, pro-life activists must hold him accountable to his promises by supporting pro-life organizations (feel free to telegram anyone in Right to Life if you want this list), writing to your congressperson, and standing up for the rights of the unborn. |

Thanks UM I've made the changes. I will probably change the conclusion to something about Trumps position on abortion. |
