  Shavina: I think nearly everyone who came to Star Trek 101 participated (or at least listened to most of it), and it was interesting, we all learned something from it, AND related to sci-fi. I think that was one of the best meetings we've ever had.

  Shavina: To be honest, I'm not really sure what we can do to fix this, but I'd like to add that more days like "ST 101" would be a good start.

  Shavina: I guess my point is: maybe the reason why club is slowing down a bit is because it's not as interesting/engaging any more.

  Shavina: Now, I know I'm guilty of playing cards with Alex and Victor instead of participating in club activities. But the last few meetings were mainly: election, movie-script writing, and sci-fi movie.

  Shavina: That way, the majority will be able to enjoy club and have a good time, and the other people can have a chance to do whatever they're interested in next time.

  Shavina: The thing is, everyone's not going to all be interested in whatever we're doing that day. That's fine. But I think we should have some way of finding out what people in club WANT to do, BEFORE the meeting starts.

  Shavina: I think the main problem is that we haven't been doing things together AS A CLUB. Some people do one thing while everyone else does another. With our low member count, this is definitely not a good thing.
