TonyG, I signed up on the new board today and will be checking both for awhile until we 'officially' move to the other board permanently. There will probably be more activity on this board until everyone makes the move to the new board.

I would like the Rangers to draft smart, not necessarily look to haul off guys like Zucc or I'm now hearing Brady Skjei. Dougie Hamilton rumors are swirling. That would be an upgrade over what we have on D, but ultimately the biggest assest from tomorrow ought to come from the draft itself. I want to see a big center and a D man picked in the first round.

Hoping Wahlstrom lasts until 9, also wanting Serron Noel, 6-5 winger to drop to late in the first.

You can start using the other board like you would this place. I am hoping everyone starts conducting business over there because I want to shut this place down before that other company takes over.
Moving forward the only significant change that will be happening is I am going to buy a domain and we will all have our own place and we will no longer be piggybacking off of any other site.
This way our web address will always be the same and we will no longer be zetaboards/nysports board or nysportsboard@freehosting .com. That way if I ever need to change the site or even move it to a new provider the permanent address will go where ever we go.

MSG discarded us like a piece of trash and this place is eventually doing the same thing so I am working on a permanent solution so we will never have to go through this again and at the same time give a big FU to the man.

It will probably take me a week to two weeks to get the permanent solution done because timing in life is everything and this website change comes in perfect synchronization with the shit hitting the fan with my business and work :wtf2: so I am spread a little thin at the moment.
But each day I nip a little at the bud and get a little closer to the finish line. :Hockey5:

Slapper, I can't speak on behalf of anybody else but if you're coughing up your own dough to keep this thing going, you have my word that I will paypal you some cash to help out.

Booing Bettman has become kind of contrived. Why would a Dallas crowd boo him? Didn't the team move from Minnesota under his tenure?

Evan Bouchard is 6'2, captains the London Knights. Isn't that the type of guy we need here?

Tough to comment too much, really haven't seen too much of any of these players, was just hoping for a more physical north American type of player.
On the bright side, the kid they took put up some nice numbers in the KHL for someone that young, especially in the playoffs.
Time will tell

Yes, tough to comment and I won't pretend to know any of these guys, but I'm annoyed and I'll tell you why. First of all, this team in this current situation has no business picking off the board. THey've done that two years in a row now. 5 first round picks in 2 years and is anybody REALLY blown away by any of them? Some seem to think Chytil has a lot of upside. We'll see. As for last night.

Kravtzov. First off, 18, Russian. Winger. We're deep on the wings and I don't trust Russian kids that young that early in the draft unless they're a sure thing. He is not that and by some accounts, he may have been available in the 20's. Like KC said, I would have preferred a big North American. Evan Bouchard, great hockey name, captain of the London Knights, big D man. Tell me we don't need a guy like that for a rebuild? If not him, why not either of the 2 guys the Islanders picked up after us?

K'andre Miller. Looks like this kid might have a lot of promise. Good size and offensive upside. Great, except don't we already have Shattenkirk and Skjei? And how will his offensive skills translate to the NHL? I'm sure he can dominate on whatever level he is at, but if you think you're going to be Erik Karlsson in the big boy's league, you better be damn good and I'm not sure he's at that level. In fact, I know he isn't..yet. Furthermore, he said he just started playing D a few years ago and sees himself as more of a forward...great. TO add icing to the cake, he is committed to playing out one more year at College.

Lundkvist...RIP Sam. This will be the end of him.
