Damian Lito Thundercraft, the second Thundercraft to appear, introduced on december 30th 2002: Being Lima's twin brother, Damian was also born on Holima 22nd 3317. Mere hours after his birth however he was kidnapped by an offshoot of the Sithuari cult, which altered some of his mental patterns. The gathered Knights of Nataku managed to rapidly rescue the infant but there was no undoing the damage done. With a heavy burden to their hearts, his parents sent him away. Therefore Damian was raised by the Charmer family on Alderaan, in hopes an upbringing on the more peaceful planet would give him a better future. There he was undertaking his Jedi studies under the guidance of a Jedi Master hailing from Svivren, named James Fodoron, when he learned of his true origins, late in 3335. Deciding to break of his studies he undertakes the journey to Nessem in search of his family, only to arrive in the midst of a civil war. Soon he was entangled in the chaos of strife and conflict, climbing through the ranks of the loyalist forces. Having reached the rank of captain, he was made commander of the 'Special actives'. Later on Damian's 'Special actives' would form the foundation of Nessem's elite forces, the Royal Raiders. When he learns his twin brother has been sighted on Naboo he resigns from the army, although he retains an honorary rank, and travels there, arriving mere hours after Lima's death. On Naboo he gets to know some of the people Lima had befriended in the short period of time he'd been there and decides to remain for a while, trying to uncover more details of his family. Not long after he was at the edge of the Palace Gardens by chance, a precept for a life-altering occurrence. Meeting a very social, adorable, little creature called Leli would change the very course of his life. The two quickly grow to like each other even as Damian enrolls in Padawan classes. As he grows in understanding the ways of the Force he begins his training under a Whill Jedi Knight called Mo'oda. By that time Damian had a growing reputation as a pleaser of the opposite sex, not entirely undeserved, and he had met a deeply troubled Dark Jedi Apprentice called Eclipse. In his efforts to help her, and if possible return her to the Light, his affection for the enticing woman grows. Mo'oda disapproves of the relationship, but doesn't forbid it. Meanwhile, having adopted Leli, the girl seeks out a mother figure for herself, but with Damian's serial monogamous behavior, she cannot succeed in truly bonding with any of his girlfriends, although Zeelka and Eclipse clearly make their impressions upon the girl. As time passes Mo'oda is granted the rank of Jedi Master. Soon after he departs for a long-term mission in the Outer Rim, leaving Damian without a Master. After having been given the rank of Jedi Knight, Jedi Knight Desaray Jewel Domont takes over the responsibilities of training with Damian, but by this time he had a well-developed, planned-out, schedule he was following. Increasing his healing skills he would quickly rival most Jedi Masters in this field. Having skirted the Dark Side on more than one occasion he follows up on his plan, deepening his focus on Force Bonds. After some time he grows increasingly worried about his homeworld, regularly meeting with Kan Vincentius Aegan, Nessem's senator. By this time Damian has gone through one of his darkest moments, a near-violent break-up with his fiancée Eclipse. She vows to destroy him, but can't bring herself to kill him. A couple of days later, Damian fails to commit suicide. Damian eventually meets, falls in love with and marries Cathuryn Charles. The pair become the parents of two children, called Mikah and Hailey. As his dealings with his homeworld intensify Damian is granted his wish to act as 'Protector of Nessem', a fairly old Jedi practice, still commonplace on the fringes of the Republic. Turning down a request by the Jedi Council to test for the rank of Master, he is forced to battle personal issues when Hailey contracts an illness he can't seem to cure through use of the Force. In spite of this he travels to Nessem with Cathuryn, only to find the planet in utter chaos after the assassination of its rightful rulers. Cut of from communications or aid the pair is forced to save as many refugees as possible even whilst renegade elements of the planets space-faring defense forces completely decimate the so-called 'Padawan Enclave' at Harmony Straits in a horrible orbital bombardment. After this event he sends 'Cat' and many refugees to safety. Damian himself visits Naboo briefly during a temporary cease of hostilities. The perils he faces become even graver after that. A Twi'Lek Dark Jedi named Derandi Carvill rounds up most of the surviving padawans from the enclave and turns them to the Dark Side, bonding them to him so they can act as his proxies or serve as a living energy supply. Carvill, going by the title 'Guide of the Ocean', plays out his minions against both warring factions and any remaining refugees. Seeking to end this threat, Damian searches out a rumoured Force user who had once been able to withstand the Dark Jedi Warrior. After the inevitable run-in with some of his former students, Damian uncovers that this person is none other than his long-presumed-dead mother Lana Bluewave. She reveals that Carvill was behind the accident that deprived the family of their parents, killing their father Fargo. Lana survived, only to be consumed by a quest for revenge, and turned to the Dark Side. As their paths run along the same course, Damian joins her in her attempt to find Carvills hiding place. Finally facing Carvill near a mountainous range, the pair moves in to apprehend (or kill) their adversary. Carvills twisted remainders of padawans effectively shield him from harm and he manages to escape. A plan hatches and Damian sets forth alone, trying to bring his mother back to the Light and defeat Carvill. In the ensuing fight, Damian manages to break the bonds between Carvill and his 'acolytes', sadly resulting in their deaths. After the following stand-off lasts for more than 5 hours, Carvill gets the drop on a weary Damian, only to be saved by a timely rescue by Lana, whom is mortally wounded in the process. In a frightening display of his Jedi abilities, triggered by his fear of renewed loss, Damian binds Carvill to the planet itself. Carvill is overwhelmed by the sudden pain, caused by sharing a bond with the war-torn world. Unable to save his mother, whom dies before he can reconnect to the living Force in order to heal her, Damian reverts to his 'Light' self again and decides for a course of action with Carvill. Eternally bound to the planet, Carvill now had a stacked interest in returning peace to this world. After this occurrence, he brings the former foe to a Force-strong cave on Timaru Coast and demands he use his powers of persuasion and mind-control for beneficial purposes from now on. The Dark Jedi reluctantly agrees, still enduring agonizing pains. Whilst within the cave, Damian experiences Force-induced visions of his future and other, more distant, but related futures. Quickly establishing a tenuous peace, Damian leaves for Naboo again, leaving Carvill to coordinate the rebuilding for his own sake, whilst he goes in search of the path that had been revealed to him. Lima Avon Thundercraft, the first Thundercraft character introduced on december 20th 2002: Born on Holima 22nd 3317, in Hiei in the province of Nataku on Nessem, as the first of twins, to parents Fargo and Lana Thundercraft. Raised as the successor of his father as Knight of Nataku, Lima grows up to be a well-mannered young man, enjoying life in the upper circles of Nessemite society. Soon he is being taught the ways of the Jedi by Quarren Jedi Knight Orin Tesh. In 3332 the crash of starliner Nautica II supposedly robs Lima of his parents and his younger siblings. In the wake of this Lima and his older sister relocate to Cîta Roma, an asteroid world orbiting Commenor. Then he resumes his training with Orin Tesh, travelling the galaxy. Most of their encounters with smugglers and the like worked out well until one faithful day in 3334. That particular encounter pitted 2 sides of the Force against eachother. Lima and Orin Tesh faced Sith Warrior Darth Levander and his Apprentice Darzon. Tesh was slain, but Lima managed to mortally wound both adversaries. The Sith flee, vowing revenge and after horribly mutilating Tesh's body. After this the Coruscanti Jedi Council transfer him to the care of Correllian Jedi B'Tanay Syntar. Being a true Correllian, Syntar teaches Lima about independent study and it's importance, eventually leading to his arrival on Naboo in search of the fabled 'Dragon temple'. Having met several interesting people already, Lima is killed on Jai's 30th 3336 (december 30th 2002) by the blade of a Sith Apprentice named Delta Kasratan. Katrina May Thundercraft, first introduced in mid 2003: Katriona (she goes by Katrina) May Thundercraft was born on Holima 20th 3312. Katrina lived the sheltered life of a firstborn, even though she would inherit the title and lands of the duchy of Nataku. Her education was more refined and reserved than that of the others and as such it was an almost natural step to become a business woman. At age 20, she inherits the duchy unexpectedly and she decides to govern from an outside location, buying a villa on Cîta Roma. From there she grows her network of trade and she is introduced to the lures of lucrative, yet illegal transactions. As she expands her business ventures she starts making enemies. For this reason she decides to give the 'Trident', an altered GC Systems 'Dynamic' class freighter to her younger brother Lima as her ownership of the vessel had become common knowledge among those trying to end her business. Shortly after Lima was killed on Naboo, she was contacted by his lost twin Damian, whom had now inherited the 'Trident'. After some urging she accepted his offer to travel to this Rim world. On Naboo, her business would once again bloom, as evidenced by her purchase of a grand estate on the outskirts of Theed, renamed 'the Thundercraft Mansion.' Her old, illicit habits pursued her though and she moved to Nessem after tax evasion allegations to truly take up her title as duchess. There she would be drawn into an assassination plot against the Retovians, making her a fugitive on Nessem, and attempted to force the Nessemite government to retaliate against the early (re-)formation of the Empire, making her appear on the watchlist for the Empire. Evading questioning several times and eventually killing several Imperial officials got her an arrest warrant in her name. She vanished. Several bounty hunters have tried to locate her, but as for now she remains ever elusive and some are beginning to believe she was killed by the Empire. Vero Mariko Thundercraft, short appearance in 2005: Jewel Amara Bluewave, first appearance late 2003: It should be obvious this page will be edited later on... |
