Strados jumped up the cliff that separated the sand and forest area, similar to a boundary point. After landing on top, he walked forward, as the times on the map showed when the delivery reached each point. It was going to take a while so he had plenty of time to spare in this time he was going to train a bit harder. While he walked, he began to make a hand sign and then a puff of smoke was conjured to his right. There, beside him was his clone, but it was a basic one that had no fighting ability what-so-ever. All it could do was serve as a distraction in one way or another, but useful for something. He had twelve of the bomb tags with him so he attached one on the clone’s clothing and told it to run. It would run about the same speed he usually be able to, but this was a training of speed. He waited for a few seconds until he no longer saw his clone that was when he began to run. The clone was timed, if he couldn’t catch up to it, it would blow up causing a disturbance. As well as attract attention to unknown enemies nearby that maybe hiding in the shadows. Using his jutsu Ascending heart to momentarily allow him to run without slowing down. In seconds he saw his clone, but he could also hear whispers in the wind which distracted him a bit. It was harder than he had expected when one was in the wild, as focus was needed. Without it, he was going to make a mistake and face plant on the ground beneath him. The sounds he was hearing were from all the other life forms in the forest, like birds and bees. But he could see his clone, all he needed was a little more which was where he used it. He jumped up as high as he could and closely looked at his clone. Gathering chakra on the palm of both hands he clasped them together and ignited his second technique. “Phantom Strike” which exploded the chakra throughout his body which flared off his chakra. He bolted downwards to where he guessed the clone was at and as soon as he went down. He went down, crashing and slicing a tree in half creating a large creator from where it stood. He relinquished his techniques at that instant and began to breath deeply on how long he was in both technique forms. He was out of breath, but looked around to see whether or not he had caught with his clone. In this case, he had accidentally ran passed his clone, who was still running towards him. Lifting one hand, he wondered if it was going to be too much for his clone to take the speed. Focusing his chakra in the palm of the hand, he closed it shut and a small burst of power ignited. And there he dashed off, so sure that it would hit his clone this time around he charged at him. Just to hear a big explosion coming from behind, the power wore off at that moment and he turned around. Seeing a puff of smoke rise from where his clone was running from, it was actually bad as he did it again. He hadn’t really mastered the technique so much yet, as it was still hard to control. Chances of missing were great, but if dealt to an opponent, the damage would be greater. But he exhausted himself, so at the moment he decided to just walk for a rest. To calm himself from doing anything more, until he regained some energy. Though he still had plenty to spare, using the “phantom strike” too much was surely going to knock him out. Deeply thinking, he thank his master who had taught him the technique then looked up. Apologizing in killer her as he hadn’t known that the one killing his parents was the master herself. Having no one else in the world, he felt empty but remembered the words that she spoke about. That a life gives a life for a life, so he knew that another life was needed of him. All he needed to do was find them and in doing so hope that he could die afterwards like everyone else. The map was on the back pocket of his pants, he wondered how long it would actually take for him to reach the place. It was already the afternoon and he had departed in the early morning of the day. Just as he was ranting inside his thoughts he came across a small camp, which fire was burning out. Looking around, he saw no one yet it signified that there were people around. Whom were probably checking out the explosion from before or had run away to hide further. Taking the map out he looked to see that this was one of the nearest and frequent stops where they get attack. Strados leaped upwards into the tree, and began traveling by the branches instead. He was highly likely to encounter them soon, so this was his chance to actually use his skills in actual an mission. Reaching the checkpoint of where the delivery would stop, he began to wait in the shadows. But the delivery had probably already passed through here, so he needed to wait much later to catch them. Before he could rest, he decided to place a few traps, using four of the tags, he placed them on opposite ends of four trees. Then took out a thin piece of string in between them for the trigger, however it would be easy to see the traps. Which was why he laid out two more by the roots and criss-crossed the string with the ones from before. That way, the thieves were going to go thru it regardless of what they do since it’ll trip the traps. Vanishing on top he began to lie down and sleep on a branch till morning. |

Strados was awakened a few days later to find that he had overslept a bit. However the action was just beginning, when three unknown looking shinobi came running out of the bushes. What was strange wasn’t the ninja’s that appeared, but from where they had come out. Strados was sure he had laid out traps from where they had been hiding unless they disarmed them. Pulling out the mission paper, he saw that he could take them out, but must have one alive. Before he moved, he wanted to see how they performed their thievery. He rolled up the scroll and placed it back in his back pocket for later. it was a three cell team consisting of girls who all had the same style but different hair color. Long hair and black masks that hid the looks as well as having no emblem for any village located on their clothes. This could only mean they were rogue ninja’s, yet looking at the team attack he noticed something. The girls spread out into a triangular formation and performed a jutsu. Afterwards, the driver of the delivery began to swerve their vehicle and recovered. Yet after the driver recovered they stopped their vehicles and the girls began their true mission. One stayed with the driver while the other two began exchanging the goods from behind the bush. The other stuff were dusty and old, but looked exactly like the goods that were being replaced. Performing a jutsu, he created a sand-clone behind him, and signaled it to move silently between the trees. The girls suddenly lifted their heads up and saw the shadow of his clone. Performing the same jutsu, he saw his clone losing balance before falling down towards the ground. One of the two who were doing the exchange went to take a look at the intruder while the other stayed behind to finish up. If it was a genjutsu, then he needed to act fast without getting caught into their trap. He ignited the first skill taijutsu, in order to amp his power with no rest. With this activates, his body will be too amped to be caught into the trap. Jumping then kicking off, he went to the girl who was doing the exchange, punching her thigh to force her down on one leg. Then igniting his phantom strike for a split second and punched her stomach hard enough that she was knocked out. The one who was with the driver leaped into the air to intercept him. She had already prepared the jutsu in advance and had now activated it as she pointed her fingertips towards him. He felt tired and everything began to move around him, but he saw the girl in front of him. But didn’t know how close she really was, her image was changing, so he knew that it was only a matter of time before he’d fall prey to their scheme. Leaping higher into the air, he looked down and closed his eyes. His senses were going off like crazy, confusing him in almost every way. Feeling the experience that this was a true genjutsu attack wrapping around his weak mind. He ignited the phantom claw for that moment and slammed his fist downwards. Pouring a decent amount of power into his attack to create a crater that shook the ground. Throwing debris into all directions and hopefully taking the girl out as well. But a smooth song caught his attention from around him, he didn’t move or to be more precise he couldn’t. He was paralyzed, and this was not something he had anticipated as he had no way of getting out. The person who taught him had warned him that using ths taijutsu skills he had, also had giant weaknesses. His eyes opened, and he saw someone familiar that made a tear swell up in his right eye. The girl with blue hair, similar to his sensei had stepped up and was playing a ocarina. Enchanted with chakra no less, as he saw that she was the only one left standing, while the other two were unconscious now. She continued to play and was now moving his body to do something. Strados slowly realized she was using his body to aid them in stealing. Listing and placing things, switching the goods with the empty things. |
