Esteemed NATO military representatives, While the political aspect of the Ukrainian crisis is being debated in NATO by political representatives and in general, I have been tasked with discussing possible contingency plans in regards to the crisis in the event that NATO reaches consensus on intervening in the affair with the use of force. It is of uppermost importance that NATO has several plans drafted in order to facilitate a quick and successful response including rapid deployment into Ukraine. I would also request member states not to review this matter as to whether NATO should act or not will military power. This is only a military debate and planning section. United States has already ordered several movements within our military structure to enable rapid deployment to NATO-Ukraine border and even to Ukraine itself. I await my counterparts’ suggestions to this matter? |

Vice Admiral Robert Davidson, With the French Fleet deplyed along the Lebanese coast and the 6th US Fleet deployed in the Aegean Sea, we would advise that Canada provides aerial assets to the Baltic States, supporting NATO aerial policing as well as stationing aerial assets in Rumania, Slovakia and Poland, if deemed necessary. |

Vice Admiral Robert Davidson, The United States would propose a more structured and comprehensive plan drafted within these forums to thoroughly meeting the security concerns of NATO, rather than unilateral and private agreements, whci could easily develop into poorly coordinated efforts. Efforts being counter-productive to the defense of NATO and its partners. That said, the necessity for European members to engage on these matters are paramount and recently we have seen little. Without engagement, such structured and comprehensive plan is impossible to facilitate. |

![]() Vice Admiral Robert Davidson Military Representative to NATO Military Committee Lieutenant General David R. Hogg, Canada is open to a more structured and comprehensive plan to thoroughly meet the security concerns of NATO, however if these forums neglect to produce a plan in a timely manner, Canada will have no choice but to take unilateral action. |

Polski Przedstawiciel Wojskowy przy Komitecie Wojskowym NATO l Poland Military Representative to the NATO Military Committee Poland has on several occasions provided locations where foreign troops could be stationed and accommodated for. Similarly, we accepted the American proposal for the resumption of measures to install an anti-ballistic missile shield in Poland, and detection radars in the Czech Republic, resurrecting the Bush-era plan to do so. Lastly, we agreed to the offer for the deployment of combat aviation brigades and others. Therefore it is not European members that have been inactive on this front, especially given that thus far only the United Kingdom - a European country - has deployed an armored division to Poland which is currently tentatively based outside of Warsaw. We encourage the United States to move forward with its plans, as we have been waiting for Washington to do so for quite some time. We felt it would have been inappropriate to otherwise push for the deployment further than we already have, and have resolved to await the decision and actions of our American and Canadian allies prior to moving forward with any further proposals. |

![]() Mrs. Veronika Wand-Danielsson - Svensk ambassadör i Nato / Swedish Ambassador to NATO Sweden has helped out Moldova with equipment and support. But we need to Ukraine as well and make sure that they are not alone when facing Russia. Sweden although a friend of NATO is willing to help. We have sent planes to help with the Baltic Air Patrol and are working with the Nordic Council regarding leasing Gripen aircraft to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We will help UKraine but only whenits get very serious. We also urge NATO members to keep an eye on Russia in the Baltic as well. |
