Mutaib bin Abdullah Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia We call upon Iraq and Iran to stop their senseless violence against the members of the ISIS and join us in Riyadh for talks on a ceasefire and putting this violence to rest. The way in which Iraq and Iran have acted in this manner is displeasing to us and we will say this we will not tolerate the deployment of Iranian troops to our borders such a thing would be met with a mutual land and sea deployment matching the Islamic Republic of Iran to the very last man. We want peace and we demand that Iraq and Iran stop this violent act against Sunni Muslims and join us at the table of negotiation immediately before they trigger something they will regret for generations of years to come!! |

Minister Mohammad Zarif Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamic Republic The Islamic Republic of Iran will not negotiate with terrorists. It is clear to all, that the ISIS/ISIL terrorists have been the agressors in this conflict, deliberately striking against civilians and commiting crimes of war at every opportunity, in order to spread fear and install a terrorist state. It is them who're creating the Shia/Sunni conflicts in Iraq, deliberately destabilizing the country in order to bring about a medieva Sunni superstate It is clear however, that ISIS operations in Syria and Iraq are bankrolled by a foreign nation. One apparently not inconvenienced by supporting an organization which resorts war crimes, and actively plans genocide on large parts of the Middle East. We will, in cooperation with the our regional allies and other nations, take any action deemed nessecairy to end this threat. |

Mutaib bin Abdullah Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Please Mr Zarif, the ISIS could hardly be classed as terrorists at best they are freedom fighters fighting for the right to practice their Sunni faith in peace. It is nations like the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Qods force that are the terrorists here primarily working to persecute the Sunnis throughout Iraq and indeed the region at the expense of regional peace. We hope that you will consider the future of your own territorial security in the future when making such harmful and naughty statements towards those who only want to hold talks to secure the region. Please come to Riyadh so we can solve this matter and stop the shameful attacks against the ISIS, they are only fighting for their freedom and are no different than those who fought for their freedom in 1979 in Tehran. In fact the leaders of the ISIS are very similar to Ayatollah Kohemeni in their fervency of belief and their desire to worship freely. I think if Ayatollah Kohemeni were alive today he would applaud the ISIS for their brave attempts at protecting their people and those who believe the same as them. Put down your guns and join us in Riyadh for talks, surely diplomacy cannot be so bad as you make it out to be |

The Saudi foreign minister calls Iraqi and Iranian actions senseless, but we did not take these actions against ISIS/ISIL for no reason. They have invaded Iraq, and slaughtered thousands of people. It is not our first time seeing these butchers in action, since they have committed disgusting acts of violence in Syria as well, planning to create a Sunni terrorist state. The Iraqi government will not tolerate the presence of these terrorists on our soil and insha'allah, we will beat them back. Ze'ev Elkin Deputy Foreign Minister for the State of Israel I fail to understand how talks between the ISIL and Iraq and Iran will benefical. ISIL is seen as a terrorist group by all major nations in the world. If anything I urge member-states to continue applying pressure on this extremist group. While Iran and Iraq continue to deny the existence of Israel, we wish them well. |

Mutaib bin Abdullah Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia And its because of your government's sectarian policies that have persecuted the Sunnis that they invade! They are fully justified in their actions that they have taken because of your sectarian policies that promote Shiites over Sunnis and seek no political equality these people have been forced to take up arms. It is no different than the Palestinian people who are forced time and time again to take up arms because they are ignored and pushed to the side by the Israeli government. It is the same situation here and as a result the ISIS is justified in the actions they taken in self defence of their people. But with that said talks must be held to end the violence, it is time that we learn our lessons from the vicious cycle here and work to secure peace that will last far beyond this generation but for future generations of people to come. Anything less than this is simply unacceptable and we will not tolerate any Iranian troops coming near to our borders and we will not tolerate much longer the senseless killing of our Sunni people. This is simply beyond the pale and we are shocked that Iraq has stooped to this low today. |

The Republic of Iraq notes the Saudi support for a terrorist group that was so violent and extremist that they were expelled from Al-Qaeda. The Iraqi government recognizes our failure to accommodate the Sunni minority in our country and hopes to rectify these mistakes through the democratic process, not beheading and executing thousands of innocent people. As far as talks go, I swear on my life as an Iraqi, my life as a Muslim and believer in Allah, that I would rather die by the hands of the ISIL before I looked one of those dogs in the eye. Mutaib bin Abdullah Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia ISIS is hardly a terrorist group the mere fact taht they were excluded from Al-Qaeda a legitimate terrorist group is searingly hot proof of this fact. ISIS only butchers those who attempt to butcher them first, this is a proven fact documented in a variety of sources. The Iraqi government should put aside the sword and come to the table for negotiations, you cannot in fact call yourself a muslim in one breath and in the other cut down your brother. We Saudis know Islam far better than Iraq, we are after all entrusted by the prophet and by Allah with being custodians of Makkah and Medina the holiest sites of Islam. Mr Zebari, have you completed your hajj yet? Have you participated in Umra? If you had actually done these things and spent more time reading the pages of the Qu'ran you would understand exactly the teachings I am sharing with you as a Muslim. You must know that within the sur'a it is very plainly written for Muslims to respect each other and to stand by each other and to refrain from killing each other. Instead your country's sectarian policies have driven a wedge between two muslim groups and has resulted in one of those groups having no other choice but to take up arms to protect themselves, to protect their women, to protect their children from the violence that your government has failed to prevent against the Sunnis of Iraq. This is the problem we face here, that your government has created and that you are fully and totally responsible for. |

United States Secretary of State The ISIS is a terrorist group, and we completely understand the sentiment in both Iraq and Iran to not negotiate with such extremist terrorist organizations. We are extremely concerned at Saudi Arabia's conduct thus far, and whilst we appreciate the attempt towards ceasefire and peace, it is quite clear that there will be no peace occurring here. The US Fifth Fleet will begin appropriate movements towards securing US citizens in Iraq and begin a partial evacuation of the US Embassy. In line with our communications with the Iraqi government, we will be providing support necessary to stem the insurgency and restore stability to act. |

Mutaib bin Abdullah Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia The United States is unfortunately incorrect in its classification of the ISIS, the ISIS is not a terrorist group anymore than the Democratic Party is a terrorist group. the ISIS is working to secure their freedom and their liberty from a tyrannical government in Baghdad that insists upon deepening the sectarian divide. Saudi Arabia remains committed to protecting the interests and wellbeing of Sunnis where it is threatened. In this particular case we call upon both Iraq and Iran to lay down their arms and begin negotiations with the ISIS to resolve their differences peacefully. The United States has no business further in deploying military assets in this particular situation particularly given the position in which the United States indirectly caused much of the present sectarian divide as pointed out by our friends in the Russian Federation in one of their recent press releases. We urge restraint and caution by the United States out of fear that the United States could make this worse than it already is. This is our concern and we hope the United States will understand the damage they can do, it is likely hard to understand given the geographical proximity of Washington to the Middle East region thus allowing a certain apathy to develop throughout most of the west unless it directly benefits their economic well being which we are sure Iraq's vast petroleum resources inevitably does. |
