![]() Dmitry Medvedev Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Esteemed members of the international community, The Russian Federation is becoming extremely concerned about the dramatically deteriorating situation in the Republic of Iraq and as a result we believe that action by the international community is needed. We received requests for support from the Iraqi government and responded as quickly as possible. But the United States of America has refused to provide needed support to the government that they supposedly view as partners in the region. We strongly condemn this two faced ideals being shown by the Obama regime, and demand that the United States of America dramatically rethink its position on the conflict, because at the moment they seem content with simply handing the country to the ISIS on a silver platter. Russia, of course, has stepped in and has plans for continued support but we must ask regional partners in security such as Iran; and global partners to also provide assistance either materially or in other ways. I must make very clear on behalf of the Russian government that we, as a global community, can not allow terrorists to take over an entire country! We feel like President Obama and the US Congress does not entirely understand what that would mean for the region and the globe as a whole: It would mean that suddenly groups like Al Qaeda, or Caucasus Emirate which has given up its goals of separatism and turned instead towards destroying our country; receiving significant funding. We are sure that the United States of America would not want to be responsible for such a failure of their so-called "war on terrorism". Again we call on the international community, and America, to return to Iraq and stop this travesty before the country falls into disarray or disintegrates completely. |

Foreign Minister Wang Yi Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China We can appreciate the government of Tel Aviv wishing to help, but surely they can see what kind of political firestorm they would cause with any intervention in an Arab nation. |

The State of Palestine is very pleased about the development of a unity government in Iraq, in which Nouri al-Maliki will not be playing a leading role, and the Sunni and Kurdish minorities are now afforded representation in the Iraqi central government. It is our sincere hope that this government will fix the errors of the past and restore stability to the country through addressing many of the grievances that those not belonging to the Shia majority may have, rather than simply through using brute force. ![]() Dmitry Medvedev Prime Minister of the Russian Federation The formation of a unity government in the Republic of Iraq is a very important step in the right direction towards dissolving the serious rift that has formed over the past years between all groups in the country. However the situation in the country remains critical and we call upon the United States and other global and regional powers to join with Russia in pushing ISIS back from Baghdad and destroying them as an organization. |

United States Deputy Secretary of State The United States congratulates Iraq on the formation of an interim unity government which will oversee the adoption of a new constitution and will work with international forces to defeat ISIS. The United States will be developing a plan with our French and Turkish allies to defeat this insurgency and restore stability to Iraq. As the international community is aware, multiple important recruitment & training centers, as well as weapons caches are located in Syria. This may require surgical strikes near the Syrian-Iraqi border to eliminate them and end the insurgency once and for all. |

Tzipi Livni Foreign Minister of the State of Israel I fail to see how Mr. Wang`s comments are relevant. Israeli-Kurdish ties are one of the strongest ties we along besides from our American friends, in fact Massoud Barzani, president of Iraqi Kurdistan and leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, said in 2005 that "establishing relations between the Kurds and Israel is not a crime since many Arab countries have ties with the Jewish state." I find Mr. Wang`s comments highly ignorant and offensive to state that a Jewish state is incapable of having relations with a Muslim state. Israel will continue to provide support whether economically or other aid to our friends in Iraqi Kurdistan, this has always been Israeli government policy and we will continue to support a free and independent Kurdistan. And while I support the current Iraqi government`s new policies to bringing national unity, Israeli foreign policy will continue to back the Kurds for their right to statehood. |
