Ibrahim al-Jafaari Foreign Minister of Iraq Delegates, I come to you today to ask your assistance in combaring the evil that is threatening to overtake my great nation. The ISIS has taken large swaths of Iraq and enslaved those peoples. They have massacred and executed anyone who disagrees with their ideology. They have committed numerous war crimes and must be held accountable. I am asking on behalf of the Iraqi people for your help in eliminating this evil from our land. If you would like to stand with and support the Iraqi people in their time of need we thank you for any assistance, no matter how big or small. I pray to Allah that nobody will stand against us, or try to hinder us in our fight with these terrorists. I ask that those countries that are unable to aid directly will throw their nations full power behind UNSC Resolution 2170. This will hopefully assist in eliminating their source of funds as well as attempting to keep this evil from spreading. Thank you for your time. |

![]() علي عبد السلام التريكي // Ali Abdussalam Treki Minister of Foreign Affairs of Libya Minister al-Jafaari, it is my duty to inform you that the State of Libya, that is living the same terrible situation fighting day and night against radical islamists, will support your government in any decision taken in order to end with this terrorist threat. Libya can't help you in this war because we need every soldier fighting in our soil but you've got our most sincere support in this mission. Moreover, I urge the International Community to get involved in Iraq and in Libya to help both of us, two countries that suffered two wars in less than ten years, to recover the former stability and maintain the Rule of Law. |

If Turkey stops to allow deluded European youngsters from using their territory as a doorway to the Middle East and if Saudi Arabia and Qatar stops funding ISIS, we believe this organization won't last forever. Cuba recognizes the imminent threat of terrorism, though we as well recognize the source of this terrorism. If we want to end the terrorist threat, those be responsible for this should be hold accountable. At the same time, we believe it would be wise to stop the opportunistic policies in regards to Syria and start cooperating with the Syrian government. Till so far one of the few forces able to halt ISIS. Something which is logic, since the Syrian government is backed by the people of Syria. Nizar Madani Minister of State for Foreign Affairs The allegation that Saudi Arabia is funding IS is slanderous, unfounded and quite frankly offensive. Though your own nation ought to be in a good position to identify terrorism, having encouraged hijackings, revolution and unrest across the Americas, our accusations are false. The very notion that Bashar al Assad, a man who purchases oil from IS and by doing so bankrolls the group, a man who has gassed the people you claim support him and a man who is a known state sponsor of Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas among other groups is equally preposterous. |

Ask people in Syria and Bahrain what's more offensive. Pointing fingers or distributing sectarian violence. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba |

Nizar Madani Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Perhaps we should ask Syria's Sunni population who face daily threats from Alawite regime death squads, Hezbollah and Iranian bandits for their thoughts and feelings. At the same time, we could ask the Sunni in Iraq, who are now having vengeance brought against them by Kurds, Shia militia and Iranian forces as well as being targeted by Western aircraft. The failure to differentiate between the Sunni people and IS is fuelling recruitment to IS. It is a grave concern that IS are the only people prepared to stand up for the Sunni in Syria and Iraq, they are only defence against governments that are either willingly encouraging their persecution, or that lack control over their forces and cannot prevent abuses against them. For as long as they are not represented and are tarnished with the IS brush based solely on their faith and not on their actions, there will continue to be problems in the region. Just as the Kurds and Shia fought back against the brutality of Saddam, there will be Sunnis who stand shoulder to shoulder against governments who target them. |

Masoud Barzani President of the Kurdish Regional Government We find it greatly offensive of calls by the Saudi representative that Kurdish Peshmerga forces are targeting Sunni civilians. I would in fact express the fact that Kurdish forces, filling the vacuum of the Iraqi Army left our positions and moved to stop ISIS from occupying the majority of Northern Iraq. We protect Shi'a, Christian, and indeed even sunni minorities from the dogmatic and senseless violence the IS perpetrates, particularly against women. The Peshmerga protects humanity, quite smply. We welcome any and all people who seek peace and the rule of law. This conversation has been derailed long enough by the Saudi Representative though, now I ask the chair to move this back to the agenda at hand. I have already received much aid from the nations of the world, generous as they have been, and with great appreciation the Kurdish people will not forget their selfless participation for freedom and liberty. With this being said, however, disputes until recently, with the old Al-Maliki regime in Baghdad had greatly impaired the material capability of the Peshmerga, and we would make an official plea to all representatives present for military donations, from boots and rifles, to APC's and MBT's. No amount is too small, no weapon system too old. If freedom shall perish from Erbil, how long until the poison at hand spread to Ankara, Riyadh, Tehran, Cairo, and much of the region? |

The Syrian Arab Army exists in majority out of Sunni Muslims. So it's a lie that the Syrian government is sectarian. The only groups which are trying to transform this war on terror into a "sectarian war" are the Wahabi terrorist forces from Al Nusra and ISIS which are slaughtering Christians, Alawis, Kurds and Sunnis who do not collaborate. "Coincidentally" they are both Wahabi which is the official ideology of the Saudi Kingdom. These terrorists are funded by Saudis, these terrorist share the Saudi ideology and a lot of these terrorists are having the Saudi nationality. So please enlighten me the exact role of the Saudi government in this process. You openly back the "rebels" against the Syrian government and you insist the world should believe that you back all rebels except those who share the same ideology as your government? Walid Muallem Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates We thank the Cuban Government for their steadfast support and wish to make it clear that despite the attempts of the Saudi Arabian Government to suggest some all encompassing sectarian divide within out state we wish to make clear the secular and inclusive nature of our state which includes members of all Syria's peoples. Nations such as the United States, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have brought about the current situation via a program of manipulation over the ground of Syria via the arming and sponsoring of terrorist groups within our states borders. The foolishness of this policy is now being seen clearly in the establishing of the western sponsored Islamic State which seeks to undermine the principles of secularism our state is founded and maintained on and perpetrate mass crimes against Arab peoples across the Middle East. The Syrian Arab Republic and forces of the Kurdish Government are the only ones who have accomplished any level of success against ISIS militants and are the only forces in the region committed to suppress their tyrannical reign. The international community must accept this fact and measures made against Syria must be reserved in order to allow us to re-secure control over our nations borders from these terrorist factions. Additionally measures must be taken to punish those states who supply and bank roll these terrorist factions in order to stem the flow of support and by such allow them to be more easily dispatched. |

![]() Mohammad Javad Zarif Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Due to the recent events in Iraq, Iran will begin to expand our mission in our fight against IS while providing both our allies in Baghdad, Damascus and Erbill with resources and retired IRGC commanders to help plain and orchestrate better assaults upon IS strong holds. However it must be made clear that these events occurred due to the west's moronic support of terrorists fighting against the Syrian regime, weakening and Syria as a whole and allowing a bunch of radical murderers to run free killing not only Shiites but other religious minorities who were protected under the Assad government. This total disregard has now spread to Iraq and once again due to the west's meddling, Iraq is facing a crisis. I find it funny Mr. Madani speaks about Sunni persecution while in fact according to a 2009 Human Rights Watch report, Shia citizens in Saudi Arabia "face systematic discrimination in religion, education, justice, and employment". The pot calling the kettle black. It is no secret that Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been supplying groups with money and arms who in most cases are the very terrorists that world is struggling to fight against. Iran will do whatever in our power to secure the security of our three allies against this demonic plague. |
