Ibrahim al-Jafaari
Foreign Minister of Iraq

Delegates,

I come to you today to ask your assistance in combaring the evil that is threatening to overtake my great nation. The ISIS has taken large swaths of Iraq and enslaved those peoples. They have massacred and executed anyone who disagrees with their ideology. They have committed numerous war crimes and must be held accountable.

I am asking on behalf of the Iraqi people for your help in eliminating this evil from our land. If you would like to stand with and support the Iraqi people in their time of need we thank you for any assistance, no matter how big or small. I pray to Allah that nobody will stand against us, or try to hinder us in our fight with these terrorists.

I ask that those countries that are unable to aid directly will throw their nations full power behind UNSC Resolution 2170. This will hopefully assist in eliminating their source of funds as well as attempting to keep this evil from spreading.

Thank you for your time.

Seriously Erbil International Airport is becoming far too overcrowded. It is very unlikely that more assets can be moved here, it does not have endless room, and already houses numerous other coalition aircraft.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela applauds the heroic efforts of the Iraqi, Syrian and Kurdish people in combating the terrorism of these genocidal groups such as ISIS, Jabhat-Al Nusra and the FSA.

It is our sincere hope that the world will draw the necessary conclusions from the events of the past few years in regards to the effects of unbridled imperialism and careless militaristic foreign policies. As we have done since the very beginning, Venezuela will continue to support the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdish Regional Government in their heroic resistance against the forces of terrorism and takfiri extremism.

We hope and pray that the international support that is being sent to Iraq will be just that - support. It would be most sad to see history repeat itself again in Iraq and see this nation go from the frying pan into the fire, should foreign imperialism decide to keep a military occupation force in Iraq after the defeat of ISIS. However, for now we remain hopeful that this will not happen.
