![]() Fuad Masum President of Iraq Greetings, Delegates. I feel that we need to discuss with great urgency the threat to the international coalition also known as Kurdistan. Their provocative actions seem to know no bounds lately. However no matter how far they seem to go out of their way to create further problems for the middle east as a whole it seems the international community is happy to allow them to get away with whatever they want. Need I remind you that is it not, nor shall it be, a recognised state. It is a mere organisation which thanks to the international community is better armed and funded than many countries armies are. This has emboldened them to create a large number of problems for the region. I remind the US that the level of support that Kurdistan is currently gaining is likely to alienate you further from an already volatile region, including your NATO ally Turkey. Kurdistan to date has received far more support than the legitimate government in Iraq and this is far from acceptable. It seems that we are all determined to see Iraq split despite this coalition created to keep it together. We call on the international community to finally come together and condemn what the Kurds are trying to achieve and profit from the conflict. I appreciate the Kurdish efforts against ISIS but they seek to break Iraq further. These issues need to be urgently addressed before they spiral further out of control. |

![]() John Russell Baird Minister of Foreign Affairs for Canada Ministre des Affaires étrangères du Canada You are a representative of the Russian Federation, as I am a representative of the Canadian government. The fact is, Mr. Lavrov, you've consistently avoided answering questions I had before following an Israeli submarine surfacing near Russian vessels, and have once again made yourself and your government a target for criticism by comparing the Kurds to Saddam Hussein. |

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran formally condemns in the strongest possible language the stated intention of the Kurdish Regional Government to pursue independence at the cost of the territorial integrity and political sovereignty of Iraq. This destructive agenda undermines the regional stability and the international effort to combat the Islamic State. When discussing issues relevant to Iraq, the international community would be well-served by restricting its communications with the recognized government of Iraq. Sushma Swaraj Minister of Foreign Affairs Republic of India The ISIS is a problem that, if not dealt with quickly, could cause huge problems in the Middle East. In this age of globalization what affects the Middle East can easily affect the neighboring nations. India supports the coalition against the ISIS. So far the Kurdish forces have been able to hold their own and even push back the ISIS tide. In recent times so has the Iraqi army, with help from the coalition. Our goal is not to create a separate Kurdish state from Iraq, but rather to support forces capable of defeating the ISIS before their influence can expand from the Middle East to neighboring regions. |

![]() Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs The Peshmerga has been a bulwark against the rise of Islamic radicalism and the only viable force combatting the Islamic State and its terror. It is only in the interest of the global community and its efforts against terrorism to coordinate and support the only stable leadership within the conflict zone that being the KRG. The government in Baghdad is fractured and unable to form any strong opposition and no one with the intention to prevail can rely on such actor. |

![]() Fuad Masum President of Iraq We welcome the American offer of mediation and accept it. Perhaps we can start putting this sorry matter behind us. We are grateful for the support of the international community, especially that of the Iranians and the Russians in this matter. |

My Government opposes the participation of any representatives of the Zionist administration in this conversation, and any subject matter dealing with the internal affairs of the Muslim peoples. It is evident here that by the Zionist representative's comments that they plan for Iraq what they have implemented in Palestine. Shapur Bahman Charmchi Ambassador to Iraq Islamic Republic of Iran |

![]() Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Israel stands indifferent to Iran's ignorant statements. It is evident that Iran will try to utilize the conflict in the Middle East to paddle out of its self-imposed isolationism and try diverting the international community’s attention elsewhere but from its devious attempt to develop weapons of mass destruction. Was it not for Iran’s careless support to the Syrian regime, we would not have seen the biological attack on Mosul and frankly, Israel reviews the regime in Tehran as an key accomplice and active founder of the attack. Now recently we have seen their forces violate the sovereignty of Iraq and the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan, and it has likely set its sights on in an interventionist campaign to further undermine international efforts to relief the world from Islamic radicalism. Mr. Lieberman's comments are totally aloof from reality. His administration has already officially and publicly endorsed the partition of Iraq and it continues to perpetrate genocide in Palestine. It accuses Iran of harboring weapons of mass destruction despite no evidence to prove it while it maintain its own arsenal of these immoral weapons, including right off the coast of Iran. It would seem to me that the Zionists are using the threat of the so-called Islamic State - men who are by no means Islamic in any way - to hide from the world its continuing policies of wars of aggression and crimes against humanity. Mr. Lieberman, how many Muslims must you kill for you to feel at peace? Shapur Bahman Charmchi Ambassador to Iraq Islamic Republic of Iran |

It is clear by the recent atrocities in Syria perpetrated by Zionist warplanes that the answer to my question posed to Mr. Lieberman is that "there are not enough Muslims to kill." Shapur Bahman Charmchi Ambassador to Iraq Islamic Republic of Iran |
