![]() Mark Rutte Prime Minister I come to you as the Dutch Safety Board has published a final report on the terrorist action that lead to the disaster of the Malaysia MH17, according to the specialists the plane was shot down by a SA-11 "Gadfly" gun, a weapon both the Ukrainian armed forces and the separatists posses. I am not here to point fingers as I do not believe either Mr Putin or Mr Poroshenko ordered the attack or would even tolerate such barbaric action, I am here to request, for the sake of diplomacy and civilization, that an international investigation is set up so that the perpetrators of this horrific act can be brought to justice. We are happy that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is de-escalating and we think now is the proper moment for us to adress this issue. Edited by Mano Negra, Oct 28 2014, 06:53 PM.

Anatoliy Kinakh Prime Minister of Ukraine Prime Minister Rutte, The Ukrainian government would of course support an international investigation into the shooting down of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17. We would allow full access to any evidence we may possess, and would allow full access to any area's under our control. We would also be willing to help in the investigation directly by providing our best forensic and criminal investigators. |

![]() Mark Rutte Prime Minister The assistance needed from Russia would be to help us to identify who shot the airplane, as it was shot with Russian guns and in territory controled by pro-Russia rebels. We are not making any kind of judgement about Russian actions in Ukraine and we are pleased to see recent advances. But we need Russian cooperation in the investigation in order to try to discover who was in the place from where the plane was shot and who had access to that kind of weapon. We need help from Russia. We would like to say this is a very sensitive point for my country as many Dutch citizens died, including scientists that were a pride for my nation. Given the fact that over 30 Australians died in this tragic and horrific incident, we welcome further investigations into the matter of the MH17 disaster. It is our sincere hope that this investigation can continue unhindered, that the culprits are found, and justice can be served. Deputy Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia |
