Asoke Kumar Mukerji
Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations

India like many other nations of the United Nations is rapidly losing patience with the bickering in the Security Council when it comes to Syria, we therefore urge the members of the Security council to with all haste adopt a resolution concerning the force planned to take control of the area currently controlled by the Turkish army and then move on to discuss how the fight the IS , future elections etc.

I agree with you, Mr Mukerji. Since the numerous statements I have made in support of other resolutions have all been ignored, I will submit a draft resolution that fully outlines what I desire to see out of a resolution.

Mr. Secretary General,

The campaign that Russia has lost against the opposition in Syria and the subsequent establishment of the terrorist army of IS is the outcome of, amongst others, the inability for this organization to agree on anything. While Mr. Churkin's statements has little basis in reality as Russia itself has been the stumbling block on many occassions, we do hope that he is able to provide anything substantial to the table that would be deemed feasible for his overlords in Moscow.

Overlords? Stumbling block? Lost against the opposition? I am not sure what alternative universe you are presently occupying Mr Prossor . We will soon provide a draft resolution and until that point we ask Israel to participate a bit more constructively perhaps changing its current foreign policy of attempting to destablise Syria more by supporting the "opposition" as they put it.

Mr. Secretary General,

Had it not been for the failure of Russia's intervention into Syria and blindness towards the Baathish Party's oppression of the Syrian people, the Islamic State would not have such an extensive pool of young people to recruit from. As history shows, since Russia's intervention, IS has only grown stronger and despite the presence of so called Russian "elite" forces Islamic State is now present in Jordan, Lebanon and yes, the outskirts of Damascus, the so called Russo-Syrian "stronghold".

Despite using illegal chemical weaponry that Russia has ensured us di not exist, the Russo-Syrian Coalition targetted civilians and not military adversaries. So regardless if we were to look the other way in regards to the use of Chemical agents, they still are incapable of foster any positive outcome. All we have received from Russia is a stronger and more capable terrorist army.

Surely the oligarths in Moscow are plotting leaving their mess behind for the Middle East and the West to clean up. So to be "Constructive" it us out the window and it has been so since the first Russian soldier set his boot on Syrian ground with a cohort of commanders without a plan.

You're arguments are duly noted however we urge you to be more constructive here. The Russian Federation remains committed to cleaning up operations in an orderly and efficient manner within Syria in support of operations to remove Islamic State. We also are very concerned with the accusations you have made which are all unfounded and completely inappropriate for this chamber here. The Russian Federation has actually been dilligent in ensuring our personnel behave in a manner in keeping with international norms and international law irregardless of whatever trumped up allegation you feel necessary to make here.

Perhaps we should begin a conversation at some point in regards to Israel's illegal intrusions into the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic with its support for the opposition groups in Syria. However we recognise that this is not the time to point fingers but instead work together for change. We hope you will re-evaluate your position and examine it and come back with a more cooperative and realistic disposition on the matter.

Russia will strive for peace in this region, will you?

Mr. Secretary General,

I must ask what intrusions Mr. Churkin? Is it the Syrian warplane that was downed by an Israeli Active Defense Wing in the Golan Heights?

Very well, let us see how committed the Russians actually are. I agree that Russian soldiers have operated within certain boundaries and for that I can only commend Moscow. However it is the lack of actions against its Coalition partner and their use of chemical agents threatening the entire Middle East by first using it against Iraq and then against its civilian population.

"Striving for Peace" is an honorable statement, but what is Russia's plan? Now that it has digged in in the sands of Syria, what is the plan? Drafting resolutions after years of disregard?

No were speaking specifically to the decision of the Israeli Government last year to equip and train the Free Syrian Army that were were notified of by our intelligence services, that is the interference we are referencing. Now presently we are in the process of creating a resolution that will address the creation of an international coalition to maintain peacekeeping operations after we have left so that our progress is not denied. Since Israel does not seem to care for what we have presented so far we must ask what the Israeli solution is if there is even an Israeli solution in mind.

Mr. Secretary General,

The Russian delegate provides "evidence" for his remarks by referring to a Russian made intelligence report. I must express our denial to this pamphlet of a report that the Honorable diplomat is referring to. However now that we are discussing matters of intelligence, perhaps the Russian delegate would be so kind to present what the Russian intelligence can inform us about the chemical attack on Mosul? Perhaps the delegate can enlighten us, officially, on what has been known for years by all other relevant intelligence agency in the world.

Mr Prosor,

Mosul is in Iraq, outside of our zone of control and a country away from our troops in Syria.

We have worked to reduce Syrian chemical weapons, and can report that all Assad regime controlled chemical weapons are in Russian hands. There are some stockpiles that the Islamic State has control over and that is a direct result of the stalling tactics the United States has implemented here and goes contrary to your unfounded claims.

Russia will not be in Syria forever. When we withdrawal it is Israel who has to deal with the chemical weapons in the hands of the Islamic State, which is something that your biggest ally in the world, the United States, has done its best to keep the Islamic State in Syria supplied with weapons and to decrease the amount of international pressure that is provided against it.

The United States is the biggest obstacle to any resolution in Syria to provide the necessary security and provide the needed forces to stabilize Syria. This is due to personal vendettas against Bashar al Assad. You are willing to condemn an entire nations civilians to a life of hardship and terrorism solely because of your hatred of their leader. While your relations with Cuba have normalized, you have found your new Cuba.
