Asoke Kumar Mukerji Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations India like many other nations of the United Nations is rapidly losing patience with the bickering in the Security Council when it comes to Syria, we therefore urge the members of the Security council to with all haste adopt a resolution concerning the force planned to take control of the area currently controlled by the Turkish army and then move on to discuss how the fight the IS , future elections etc. Edited by Uruk, Apr 30 2015, 03:01 PM.

![]() Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations Mr. Secretary General, The statement by the Syrian Representative has been noted. We are well aware that the presumed coup d'etat within the leadership halls of Damascus is likely not to have a more positive impact on relations, or lack thereof, between Israel and Syria. General al-Freij's remarks at earlier events has at least not been very reassuring. Yet relations are not on table but containment of the advancing Jihadists. We are however very interessted to hear the status of the Russo-Syrian coalition? Further, we must again commend Turkeys commitment to engage the terrorist army of Islamic State in collaboration with other parties. We propose that Turkey takes a somewhat more liberal approach to the Kurdish minorities fighting the terrorist army of Islamic State as they have proven to be a very powerful ally in the fight for peace and democracy. Syrian Representative Mr Çevik, the current Syrian government will address the political future and direction once the enemy has been defeated. Like you, I agree that a meritocratic system based on ability would be preferable to the dynastic nepotism we see at the highest level of American government. For now however, my country is at war and we share a common enemy. I would like to urge you to do more to stop these fighters entering Syria as the Turkish border is still the main transit route for terrorists entering Syria from EU countries. General al-Freij will continue to fight terror wherever it lies and we will fight until the desert flows with the blood of the terrorist forces sent here by the House of Saud and its GCC puppets. At no point has any genocide been carried out and I find the accusation baseless and somewhat offensive. Given your own country's history, I would expect better from you than to throw such statements around! Genocidal regimes does however neatly lead me on to Mr Prosor...We will end the threat to the region from our mutual enemy with or without the help of the international community. It is ironic that when you fight what you describe as terrorists and kill thousands of civilians in the process, the international community plies you with arms under the auspices of making your strikes more precise. When my country fights an enemy described as a grave threat to global security, we are sanctioned and unable to gain access to weapons that would make the difference on the battlefield. OOC

![]() Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations Mr. Secretary General, Israel takes note of the anti-Israeli remarks issued by the Syrian Representative. It will have little effect and merely places emphasis on the fact that relations remains non-existant and that it has absolutely no influence on our actions to secure our border against the menace of the Islamic State nor the Syrian aggression. How the Syrian Representative came to the conclusion that Islamic State is any different to Hamas or Hezbollah, I do not know. It merely allows us to conclude that Syria will continue to support these terrorist organizations on the behest of their Iranian overlords, regardless that their own country is being torn apart by the exact same ideology. All that said, I would like to address the Russian Representative; We are however very interessted to hear the status of the Russo-Syrian coalition? |

Mohammad Khazaee Permanent Representative of Iran to the United Nations With the current situation , the Islamic republic is deeply concerned. While we trust the Syrian military we must make it clear that our ally Assad is proven to be still alive and fine to Iranian authorities. The demands of the West and the Zionists are foolish to indicate Assad must leave. As we have seen already the American backed Syrian Free Army has proven unreliable and their current strategy has seen Dash enter even Jordan. The Iranian government would like to make it clear if anything happens to president Assad or government we will be forced to have a greater military role in this conflict. Vitaly Churkin Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Russian Federation Russia condemns the assassination attempt on President Assad. We have a long list of suspects who have been very vocal about wanting Bashar al Assad gone. The Suadis, Turks, NATO, US, and many non state entities as well. The list of those apposed to Bashar al Assad is extremely long. There are a long list of suspects, as there was no shortage of anti Assad sentiment in the region and in the world as a whole at this time. Mr Prosor should not be suprised as to seeing anti Israeli remarks from a Syrian representative. The last hope of negotiations between Syria and Israel failed when Israel engaged in the Gaza blockade which destroyed the will of even Turkey to help you negotiate with the Arabs. Your own nations actions towards Syria have been nothing but hostile, threatening to invade if this or that happens. You routinely sent aircraft into Syrian airspace until Russia deployed anti air systems to Syria. It should come as no wonder that any new Syrian government officials would not welcome Israel with open arms. It would take time to overcome the non existent relations between you two since the creation of Israel in 1948. Russia remains committed to combatting the Islamic State and their allies. Mr Khazaee, the IS being in Jordan is not a new development. Jordan was being used as a staging ground for the western backed Free Syrian Army, and when the west abandoned that plan those volunteers joined the Islamic State instead. I do commend Jordan for taking action against the Islamic State, as if they are not dealt with the stability in the Middle East is at stake. |

Permanent Representative of the Turkish Republic to the United Nations Mr. Secretary, Thankfully, we are not gathered here to waste time and debate the well-documented fact that the Syrian government, under the leadership of Bashar al-Assad, committed to genocidal policies against Syrian citizens. Every honest man and woman in this chamber understand that reality, as well as the reality that Bashar al-Assad is a war criminal. Turkey is currently dealing with a refugee crisis as a direct result of these realities. However, I would like to thank my friend from Syria addressing my concerns directly, and giving Ankara a better idea of who we are now dealing with in Damascus. Now, I can appreciate that the Syria Representative is under a considerable amount of pressure at the moment, so I will not be addressing him again nor while I be offended by his brash conduct. I shall, however, take great objection to the statements of my Russian college. Ankara has already presented it's view on the assassination attempt on the former Syrian dictator. We would've far preferred he be at full health while standing before the International Criminal Court and receiving his sentences for his war crimes - He clearly can't be tried if he is dead. So I will not credit anymore accusations from Moscow in my capacity as the Representative of the Republic of Turkey to this body, nor will I every address these rumor again in this chamber; spare for this moment which I shall now use to reiterate the fact that all implications of the Turkish government in this matter are both asinine and baseless; lacking in credible evidence or logic of any kind. Thank you, and good day to you all. |

Vitaly Churkin Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Russian Federation What a childish response from Mr Çevik. It is no secret that Turkey is a self declared enemy of Bashar al Assad. I did not accuse Turkey of the assassination attempt, I simply declare Turkey as one of many opponents of Bashar al Assad. |

![]() Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations Mr. Secretary General, Seeing the Russian delegation continues to take our statements out of context and continues its aggressive anti-Israeli agenda on matters regarding the Middle East. Matters where Russia have not been very successfull after 5 years of combat operations using chemical agents against civilians in Syria. As Russia continues its path toward utter isolation, where only delegates from North Korea yells "Hear, Hear!" let me remind the assembly that the Russian delegation has no proof of its allegations against Israel as it has no proof of any foreign participation in the perceived coup d'etat against the dictator, Bashar al-Assad. We are entering a point where it becomes immensely diffecult to hear whether it is Mr. Churkin or Mr. Ja Song Nam whom takes the stand in the Assembly. Israel is outright tired that even the smallest commend of Russian actions is only responded to in aggression, but perhaps we have been too naive to understand that the Putin Government has no other tool, but aggression. Just looking briefly in the last couple of years, Russian interference in the Korean Peninsula, Venezuela and Ukraine has be catastrophic and yet they have the audacity to point fingers at the rest of the international community. Shame on you. |
