"It It is with deep concern that I stand before you, my fellow ambassadors at the United Nations. Our National Intelligence Service reported the discovery of North Korean dug tunnels along the Demilitarized Zone which was found right in the middle of the nuclear disarmament negotiations. Tunnels that not only fit smaller units of infantry, but is also capable of bringing vehicles into the country undetected. It is as clear as it is evident based on this clear violation of our territory and security in the middle of the peace talks that North Korea does not seek peace. They only seek to deceit and violate our trust for their own gains. A world of peaceful understanding is not on Pyonyangs agenda, instead it is eternal conflict which they have proven to us time and time again by artilery barrages through history. We shall neither forget the TV-Tower massacre, which claimed the lives of many innocent civillians.

We view these events with uttermost concern and urge the international community to take action, as the Republic of Korean government does towards this criminal state. You have all been provided a portfolio with pictures provided by the National Intelligence Service, which shows the demolition of the tunnels and the tunnels existance."

Our intelligence report can be verified by any intelligence agency standing here, we are fully willing to provide that and make it accessible to those present here. We must condemn the decision by the Republic of Korea to not continue the nuclear talks with the DPRK and we must further condemn the use of these tunnels by the South Korean government as a mechanism of trying to gain political advantage at home. The Russian Federation will not waste its time with these talks any further if they are simply to be held and boycotted at the whim of Seoul and Washington only to be called off at the last minute for some "unexpected matter".

It seems to us that the puppet regime in Seoul are aiming to increase tensions in the region, not reduce them. We would like to point out at this time that: The DPRK is not the one who withdrew from nuclear talks. That was Seoul. Nor have we used these tunnels which we apparently created. It seems the South is the only one to have anything or anyone in those tunnels. The South claims we used the tunnels in the Seoul TV Tower incident. However given that Seoul knew of the tunnels for years, it shows they did nothing to stop the attacks. We find this hilariously unlikely and call upon the international community to condemn these baseless allegations. We did not create those tunnels. Only the South knew of their existence, apparently for years, and is the only ones to use them. It is a weak argument at best that these are our responsibility and a weaker argument that we used them. Yet we have evidence that the south used them at least with robots. With that being said the Ministry of State Security will be doing a full investigation into the use by the South of those tunnels. And if any individuals are found who are Southern spies, they will be executed for espionage and sabotage. We will also be further monitoring the border to locate any additional tunnels leading to the DPRK.

We thank the Russian Federation for their willingness to provide their report and willingness to prove its verification. We are glad to see that there are still members of the international community that dont buy into the lies of the Park Syndicate.

The Commonwealth of Australia condemns North Korea's recent tunneling operations underneath the 38th Parallel. The fact that these tunnels were discovered by the Republic of Korea during peace talks is a clear betrayal of trust that proves peace isn't on the DPRK's agenda.

These tunnels that are currently mentioned have not been known for years, and is a lie created by the Russian Federation and North Korea. They were discovered recently by the National Intelligence Service, and which is why we look at these event with greater concern than before. We find it a disgrace but are not suprised that North Korea would try to turn the blame on us and we urge investigations by this regime, known for its propaganda machine to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Alot is needed to be done here if you want to be taken seriously in your efforts for peace Ja Song Nam. We demand first and foremost an apology and compensations for the TV-Tower massacre, we also demand that any tunnels currently in existance shall be demolished by the North Korean regime, as the next time we find a undemolished tunnel on our soil, we will see it as an act of war too many. Only then, when we have been given the assurance by the North Korean criminal regime and the apology and compensation has been given, may we work towards improving our relations.

As we all can see, the Republic of Korea is willing to put past differences aside for stability and peace, however it is up for the North Korean regime to show that they are willing to do what is necessary to ensure a more stable Korean peninsula.

Honorable delegates, the words of the North Korean representative today have been even more outrageous than usual. "No," says North Korea, "it was no us who dug tunnels into the territory of the Republic of Korea, it was in fact the other way around. In fact, the Republic of Korea used these tunnels to attack us, but not by conventional means--no, they attempted to invade us with evil imperialist robots."

Does this assembly truly accepts these preposterous claims, coming from the regime that just a year ago succeeded in attacking the Republic of Korea and killing a hundred and fifty innocents? The claim that the South is intent on "increasing tensions in the region" can be refuted by the simple fact that war was not declared they day the Seoul TV tower came crashing down. Now, it has been discovered that the North has dug tunnels under the de-militarized zone, capable of facilitating a full-scale invasion of the Republic of Korea. The fact that these tunnels had not yet been used is irrelevant. At some point, these tunnels were excavated, and since then Pyongyang has left them open, ready to facilitate an attack, and in continuous violation of the Republic of Korea's sovereignty.

We refuse to negotiate with a regime that perpetrates criminal acts, ongoing or recent, while all other parties attempt to find a peaceful solution through reasoned discussion, for we believe that negotiations with such a regime are futile and entirely undignified. We shall return to the table when Pyongyang has proved that, for once, it sincerely wishes for a peaceful resolution to these tensions.

The United Nations exists to ensure global peace and the preservation of human rights for all. North Korea has proven time and again that it has no interest in peace, and, as for human rights, there is no regime in this world that has less regard for the wellbeing of its own people. If the United Nations allows the latest criminal act by a criminal regime to go unpunished, then this organization has failed utterly in its primary mission. If Pyongyang continues to act in a manner contrary to the principles and laws of this organization, then those principles and laws are meaningless.

Japan therefore calls upon the United Nations to enact a total embargo on the so-called Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, exempting the basic necessities that the regime denies its own people in favour of excessive military spending. For too long, Pyongyang has been given a free hand to carry out its mandate of destruction and terror. If this goes on any longer, the maintenance of peace in Korea will become all but impossible.

The response of the unnamed diplomat from Japan is hilariously ridiculous and comes very close to openly stating a wish for a renewed war on the Korean peninsula. Is that what Japan wants? If it is, then why are you being so cowardly? We expect a puppet like Tokyo to follow their American Masters in all things and thus we are not surprised. However, we must warn this body that if further illegal and immoral sanctions are placed against out country it will lead to devastation the like this world has never seen. We are tired of the world turning its back to the Korean people, and simply accepting blatant lies as truth. We expect all reasonable members of this council and the Security Council to oppose this call for illegal sanctions.

It seems somewhat ironic that Japan of all nations has been accused of war-mongering by a nation which has, in the last two years, committed two acts of war against their immediate neighbors. Unless, of course, we are to believe the DPRK's story--that it was in fact the Republic of Korea that perpetrated the latest attack against the DPRK...with technology that does not exist.

With technology that does not exist? Do the Japanese really think so lowly of their colleagues in South Korea that they don't believe South Korea capable of tunnel boring equipment? The Russian Federation does not believe South Korea made tunnels but we do not doubt that they have the equipment to make tunnels. With that said we believe based on our intelligence reports we received that these tunnels were not in fact new but tunnels South Korea knew about for several years but only now chose to blow up and remove them for maximum political gain.

The childish behavior of the Japanese delegation is absurd. As we stated before: if you are so set on war in the Korean peninsula then do it. The cowardly behavior of Japan, trying to blame us for things we have not done in order to find a reason to go to war, is nothing but grasping at straws. Perhaps Japan should remember the warmongering of its past: the invasion of China, illegal occupation of Korea, among many others; than trying to blame the DPRK for these. You are not one to speak of destabilizing the region when even now you are in an arms race with China.

We once again warn the UNSC that further sanctions against the DPRK will have devastating results.

The Russian representative appears to have misunderstood the DPRK's statement. According to the DPRK, their country was attacked via the tunnels by "imperialist robots" whose intent was to destroy their destroy their infrastructure and military facilities.
