Germany condemns the attack on European economies by the Russian govnermnet in imposing its new measures which restrict free trade, movements, and the proprieties of European citizens within Russia, with a destabilizing effect on the worldwide economy, bound to create a further collapse in commodity prices from which Russia will be a primary loser in the economic situation.

We call for all parties and major economic powers to discuss restructuring vis a vis a resolution to the debt crisis n Ukraine and the recent Eastern European tensions which threaten the balance of currency and trade and will no doubt combine with previous events such as the worldwide rush to militarization to produce high inflation levels and economic catastrophe.

We suggest an immediate ratification fo accords giving de facto autonomy to the separatists, unthinkable in the past, but necessary due to the sovereign default of Ukraine, and an aid package spearheaded by the EU and thus-far-languishing IMF to prevent a collapse of the Ukrainian financial system, with a corresponding normalization of Russo-EU relations and joint bond buying packages to signify good will.

I would like to ask what conditions Mr Putin would agree to in order to see a withdrawal of Russian military from the Ukrainian territory of Crimea?

Mr Klimkin, an arms embargo against the whole of Ukraine would force Kiev to actually negotiate in good faith. It would prevent you from rearming and continued restructuring and repositioning your forces to take advantage of the cease fire. As it stands now, your forces are resructuring with the goal of renewed conflict in the east. An arms embargo would bring you to the negotiating table, since obviously you have no desire to be there otherwise.

Mr Soini, that is a question that cannot be answered without us being in negotiations with Kiev for a peace. Those very negotiations are being stalled by Kiev and Washington, and now by you. Russia would be more than willing to answer that questions in negotiations with Kiev, as we have pledged to enter into negotiations without preconditions.

Russia keeps stating that it wants to negotiate without preconditions, yet it insists on an arms embargo on Ukraine. If it does not get its way, by your own admission, you will continue funneling weapons into the Donbass. Is this any sort of negotiation in good faith? No, it is not. Russia isn't interested in serious negotiation - you're only interested in ripping our country apart.

What international law or treaty are we violating to justify the imposition of an arms embargo? We are a nation defending ourselves from foreign invasion. While Russia would only be too happy to see Ukraine embargoed to prevent us from properly defending ourselves, we will not accept such conditions. That is our final word on the matter.

Nobody is stalling these talks, it is a simple question. Will you give Ukraine back their territory or we will have to return it to Ukraine by force at some point in the future? I have to marvel at the extreme patience shown by everyone here today. I know if this was Finnish territory that was stolen we would be fighting to the death to the last man woman and child to get that territory back and no disrespect to our friends in Kiev. To our friends in Kiev you have our solidarity, we bleed yellow and blue in our hearts for you, we stand in solidarity with Europe on this matter.

Why does Russia want to blame others instead of taking responsibility for the actions you have done? Why must we continue to sit here while you waste our time? Let us have peace first of all and let us have Crimea returned to Ukraine. This is a diplomatic offering, we hope that you will take it seriously so that we can keep the peace in Europe. Never before have we had such a such a threat to security in this region as Russia poses today, never since the days of Adolf Hitler that is. It is sad that the Russian Federation has seen fit to embrace fascism and the rejection of human rights but just as Neville Chamberlain bargained with Hitler we are here today to bargain with your country. Even as we must hold our noses as the revulsion we feel towards your policies, we are here today as Europeans to bargain for peace.

We know that the Russian Army is mighty, we saw what was done in Crimea. But even so we know that the will of Europeans to prevent another world war is even greater than the resolve of the VDV and Spetsnaz combined. Our continent remembers the last war, we remember what happened when fascism tried to triumph over sovereignty, we remember what happened when human rights was discarded for bigotry! Is it so different now?

Wake up Russia and lets make peace and return Crimea to the Ukrainians. Our Neville Chamberlain moment will not last forever and before you know it you will have created a thousand Winston Churchills to stand up to you.

Mr Klimkin, the proposed arms embargo would ensure that no arms find their way into Ukraine going into either side. That is fair and would do much to prevent either side from rearming.

I would like to note to the world that Kiev is declining a Russian arms embargo on all entities within Ukraine and the breakaway regions. Russia is being more than reasonable here, and again peace is thwarted by Kievs refusal.

Mr Soini,

Your emotionally cgarged outbursts are not helping the situation. They back Kievs refusal to come to negotiations with Russia and serve to continue to block the peace process.

You see Mr Lavrov, this is why negotiations are bound to fail. You are predisposed to fundamentally see the separatist movement which you spawned as a "side." They're not a side. They will not be given equal weight to millions of Ukrainians and the Ukrainian state. They are terrorists. They are foreigners that have invaded our country, nothing more.

If Russia truly desired negotiations, it would cut off the arms flow to the terrorists in Donbass. It will not, because it wants to leave Ukraine defenseless in the face of Russian aggression. As I said before, we will not agree to such terms.

Actually what isn't helping is your continued illegal occupation of Crimea just like the Nazis illegally occupied France, Czechoslovakia and Poland years and years ago. The world is not deceived by you or by Mr Putin, we are willing to give you a Neville Chamberlain moment where we negotiate with you but the longer you refuse the quicker we turn to our Winston Churchill moment that could easily send us into another world war. Do you want World War? We in Finland do not.

What you fail to understand is that it is Russia here who is trying to negotiate but we are being rebuffed by the usa, ukraine, and now finland.

This exchange should fully explain to the eu why there is no peace yet. Because the kiev government doesn't want peace yet.

Finland is of little importance in this matter, however you are undermining attempts of leading EU nations, which will severely undermine your position internationally. Please be realistic and ensure that a unified European position will be presented in these talks.
